Fmbm
Hey Pam- Where is the quote in your sig from? I want to know too haha
LadyGodiva
no lady, it was perfectly well worded... the quote in my sig,lol...guess oh, no, i just meant that i meant different things. like by corporate people i referred to the people attending the party being there in part because it was a business party and not just for mika. We're used to him playing his on gigs for his own fans. this was just a change from the norm that i'm not used to. I understand what you are saying though! i dunno, where s the quote from?! Pam Travers
haha, royalties on 20 cent bracelets. yes because he is being abusive, i mean he copied them= there is a plagiarism on the idea, YOUR idea haha, you could sue him because those are not the original ones, OR you could sell them ...i llbe the first to buy them , to be honest his copies are not half as good as yours, i tried to copy them too but its not the same either... ok ok i will tell you for the sig maybe less than a year ago, om french tv, someone asked to describe himself in three words and he said that he really didnt know...then he started to think real hard and finally tried to joke and said that he was "terribly intelligent" but the man said "in three words" and it made me laugh, i dont even think he realized, lmao!!! Lol, i would only sue if i didn't want him wearing them.. and if i had hated him suddenly or if it didn't make me so incredibly happy even to see him wearing something remotely like what i gave him (even though it means nothing and he has no idea haha)- i'm hopeless. I'm glad you like the originals though i love that quote though....the interviewer was a bit dim though....

lollipop_monkey
i couldn't help but going awww at this comment: Jase2705 (3 hours ago) "What a night! I loved Mika's performnace and I'm not even a big fan. Had a great time!!!! Thanks Charles!" I saw that, too. So even if us crazies aren't there, at least he's out getting new recruits who might just find themselves swept up into this mad, mad world. NoAngel
Hi everyone, There were some fans at this (me included) the atmosphere is obviously going to be different at such a party rather than a concert as at a concert you only buy a ticket if you're a fan. This was a party for the whole company so not everyone is going to be a Mika fan (crazy people!) and think Mika probably aware of this. The performance was amazing, I've never seen Mika live before as concert dates have been when we've either been saving for baby things or then had a new baby so haven't had the opportunity. His music is played all day here and my husband has always disliked Mika, since the party though he's now a Mika convert. Says he is definately coming with me to next concert anywhere in this country! Reason you wouldn't have heard is that we never find out for sure who the headline act is, usually just rumours. Oh, and the theme was carnival not superheros. Most of the crowd were genuinely appreciative, I think lots of the ones who weren't singing along just didn't know the words but doesn't mean they didn't enjoy it. I don't know how anyone could have not enjoyed that!! Any questions? lol. I can't stop talking about this to people and I think they're getting bored but sure you guys won't!!! I have pictures being developed and some great vids that I'll put up and post the links to. xxx

Pamette
Hi! Welcome! Thank you for the explanation! I didn't notice the people didn't enjoy. The problem here is that as soon as we learn that there's a gig without some MFCers, it's "people didn't enjoy. Mika sings and people don't care. BLABLABLA". I'm happy you enjoyed the gig (my boyfriend didn't like Mike but admitted that the best gig he had in his life was some of Mika's gig). How did you get your tix? NoAngel
Is tix = tickets? If yes, then everyone who works for company is invited, it's an annual thing. You have to RSVP then there's a guestlist made up. Don't get tickets, don't think thats secure enough for them! When you go in you give your name and answer security questions to make sure it's you. You get a wristband put on, then pass MORE security guards. Security is everywhere, there's a seperate contained smoking area and you even go past more security guards checking you there!! Pics will probably be tomorrow, vids will be tonight, they're on hubbys phone!

NoAngel
It was funny with the security. When we were going in they were saying "women with handbags to the left" I kept walking and one of them stopped me "WHERES YOUR HANDBAG, WHERES YOUR HANDBAG???" Jeez, is it illegal for women to NOT carry handbags?! My husbands pockets are there for the purpose of carrying my phone and lipgloss!
NoAngel
I'm sure most people enjoyed it. There were a lot of people whining on the company message boards before the event about how they didn't like him but there have since been comments saying how they didn't like him before but do now! I was a bit annoyed at some people at the front, I was at the front stood next to a couple who looked thoroughly bored and I just wished they had stood somewhere else and maybe some people who actually liked Mika could have stood there and showed there appreciation! On the whole though I think most would agree that he is an AMAZING entertainer!!
