Well it's only two hours for me, I've done far worse I say we should plan a whole trip: 1) Paris 2) Arras 3) the art exhibit in werchter 4)... But if you can come up with number 4.......... We are planning to go by Eurostar, it's only about 2hrs 15mins from St Pancras and for me about 30 mins to St Pancras, so convenient, we couldn't not come! True true, thing is a teacher like me was pretty upset not to be allowed to take days off during the school term last autumn, so since i have nothing to do during the summer months, well... why not do them all, uh? I am being really sparing with my holiday days this year, never know when I might need them. That's why I am working on the days of the London gigs, I won't arrive till about 6 or later. My employers are happy if I take holiday when no one else wants it. It must be nice to get school holidays, but frustrating if you need to take holiday at other times.
