( to hear the original song). Some lovely MFCers were brave enough to record themselves singing this version of the song, so we thought, why not sweeten the deal? And so begins our 2009 MFC Santa Mika Karaoke Contest! ---------->Scroll to the bottom of this post to see the entries so far!<---------- Here's what you gotta do: 1) Record yourself singing Santa Mika (lyrics below). It can be audio only, or - if you're really brave! - you can post a video. If you'd like to sing along to a karaoke backing track, you can download an mp3 here. 2) Upload your submission to YouTube 3) Post a link in this thread to your version, and give it a name. Feeling Sassy? Call it Santa Mika, Sassy Style!! Think you sound like an alley cat? Call it Santa Mika, Alley Cat Style! The deadline is December 31, 2009. We will be choosing a winner at random from all the submissions - so don't worry if singing isn't your strongest skill! Everyone who enters has a chance to win. Now, the prize... Apparently so (Same as "Fever" ) But I found this version on youtube and I liked it better. Fits my voice better. I cant go as sassy as Madonna. Not Madonna. yup. bianka, where did you find the karaoke music for the eartha kitt version, maybe we could add that to the first post as well, for those who prefer that version? Hahaha this is fun! I would love to participate but I am not sure if I can sing Santa Mika . well, i guess you can interpret the lyrics freely... just sing "mika baby" instead of "santa mika".
