Things are all getting confused and mixed up. The secret gig in Reading that took place the night he cancelled Nibe (Denmark) festival was a concert for a local radio, run by the local radio, for the local radio audience... It was never mentioned on mikasounds, and people that get the update emails from mikasounds never heard about it either. And that's the ONLY event we missed... And would we have liked being there ?? In 7 months of existence, missing one secret gig that was REALLY secret and that mikasounds didn't mention either is "not that bad"... Shouldn't we continue this discussion in the "Official Fanclub" thread ??? I'm gonna MQ my posts overthere...

I would say "not ONLY about the money", being realistic, FD... As for the info contact, we all know they come here, and they all have a myspace that they all consult really regularly... If they don't reply, it's because they don't want to or think it's not relevant to reply ! As for Universal, Universal France is helping the non-official forum about Mika, and all they have is promo singles when they ask some for little competition in front of the Olympia... Not so many info... They were contacted and given the opportunity to "create" an itw for Mika with questions from the fans, that was sent months ago, and still nothing... I do think things should stay the way they are...

We can still lurk on mikasounds.co.uk... That's we've done until now, and it's working very well !! Someone from here has always been part of every "secret events" so far ! And we've had every news, etc. The only interesting point in being official would be the money. True. But would we "sell our soul" for that money ?? And i'm sure our fantastic mods and admins will find a way... Even if it includes more ads on the forum, only speaking for me, i don't mind, as long as it's not porn :naughty: And if clicking on it brings some more money, i will click on it, and maybe discover some fantastic things i've always been waiting for !! Anyway... Off topic

They already have an official forum and fanclub, the mikasound one, and i doubt they know anything more than we do. And being "official" would mean dealing with censorship when they don't agree what we discuss about... I'm so not into being the official forum/fanclub/whatever !! And i think it will not happen... Maybe i don't knwo some things that are going on, but i truely hope we don't become official...

CALENDAR !! La fête de la Musique, Paris, France Somerset House, London, UK Italia Love Wave Festival, Florence, Italy Les Voix du Gaou, Toulon, France Fuji Rock Festival, Japan T4 on the Beach, UK ?? Not really a festival, though... ... I agree that's still less than all they had planned to do...

For the 3rd time, i think you haven't seen it, it's ok... Big Chill is not such a big event in the UK like the others festivals he did maintain despite the other cancellations... So it's a little surprise cause it's in the UK, but on their "importance scale", i think it was not on the top, hence the cancellation. In my opinion, that is worth what it is, Ibiza and GMA are the only safe events left on the calendar now... Certainly V Festival... Taubertal, not even to talk about it :naughty: :roftl: And Colmar, well... I don't know... I'm twisted about it...

As i said in the Big Chill Festival thread, it is not such an important festival, even if it is in the UK... And Ibiza should be a very important date for him, and as for GMA. These 2 are pretty safe. I would not bet on all the others, though.

Yes, Bab was more or less "waiting for the cancellation", and she said that just the fact that she was going to a festival now, with people she liked and was meeting some new ones would be a lot was fun, with or without M. Ok, so we just learnt that Mika officially cancelled Big Chill today... The day he was supposed to be on... Anyway, so i create a normal thread to talk about it, since the event thread will be deleted so it doesn't appear on the calendar anymore (yes, control-freak, bla bla bla)...

Once again, guys... Get ready for the cancellation. That's all i can say ! For you not to be too disappointed...

Give them the time to post it on the website... But someone at Big Chill wrote it on their forum, Bab texted Yuppy after talking to an "official" and then texted her again for sure, i think they saw an official announcement confirming the news...

Another one to add to the list Big Chill... Mika cancelled just today apparently... No official details for the moment on the website... They must be on their way to put it in the news section there... Go to the Big Chill thread...
