completely agree with you 2, dcdeb and steph. actually saw mika's video (gracek) while hearing the song for the first time, so i knew what he looked like...but my first thought wasn't "HOTTIE!" it was truthfully more like "why is he singing to a 10-year old?" but his uniqueness jumped out at me and slapped me in the face and by the end of the song i was in love with this sound, this personality! ...and i felt like i could relate to it like no other. i could NEVER picture myself as a fan before. usually thought of other superfans as crazy! didn't ever imagine myself spending more than an hour on the computer, let alone on an fc site. but this IS different. but i can't word how either! ANYone care to put the reason into words?

wow, i agree- that's truly awesome! she seems like one of the few reviewers who don't dismiss mika by what he 'appears' to be: not self-obsessed but cheeky, not a musical copy b/c he sounds like freddie mercury, but a unique, new artist, not flamboyant for the sake of being flamboyant but somehow naturally flamboyant (oxymoron, i know ) love this review. i'm sure all of us fans can relate with this writer's opinion! thanks, titania.

43?! no. he was 8th on canadian charts at one point, so i thought that was high! but 43? mika's the top in my music world. weird how it's so different with fellow americans.

that's sweet! mika, if there's anything i can add on it's that you make me smile. and you never disappoint us! so polite too and incredibly sweet...even when us fans jump all over you! and...god i really can't think of everything on the spot but i hope you're having just as awesome a time as you're making us have. oh who am i kidding; course you are! you're the first singer that ever made me go out and buy a whole CD instead of just downloading one or 2 tracks. and you're the reason why i want an iPod- have the irresisstible urge to dance to LICM when i'm at the bus stop. and fellow MFCers, you all make my DAY! don't know where i'd be without people to relate my random ramblings with. my friends think i've gone mika crazy, and just extremely happier in general! everyone here is SO polite, so kind...so much fun! it's not like a forum at all; more like a community. and we all have not just music taste in common, but a personality too. sivan, glad that you feel better.
