Yes, I don't think anyone here is seriously saying Mika writes pervy lyrics. He clearly doesn't. The original post was actually mocking those who say he does. And of course Mika isn't pervo. He's a good Catholic Lebanese boy! And I agree with whoever said it was impossible to ignore Lisa Hoffman's cleavage. I couldn't take my eyes off it either!! I'm surprised she didn't ask someone (Mika?? Graeme?) to rub some of her face cream into it..I honestly thought that was going to be the point of it! I think "leaking" demos can be way for an artists to test out the material on the listeners. I'm NOT suggesting Mika has done this for one moment, and I'm totally against making illegal mp3s and such. But it's such a grey area in the music industry. For example, it 'okay' to download a video of, say, a performance of Holy Johnny, because that song is now being performed, though still unreleased?? At the end of the day if Mika has spoken out about this we should all respect his wishes. We can't un-listen what we've heard though unfortunately.

He probably should snub them but the won't, he's far too polite, and he probably won't care about the good few sneers he'll get from the Indiesnob crowd.

Realistically, I think they'll give him Best Breakthrough Act and Best Single. Maybe he could do an Arctic Monkeys and record his acceptance speech in fancy dress.

So Grace Kelly looks a hot favourite to be best selling single of the year, but will it win any awards? Right, we all know he is The Greatest (not to mention Sexy man of 2007:naughty:) but what will the Awards make of his rise to fame? had to be, had to be, it is still the best single I can remember for years. I hope he at least wins the Brit for Best Song (the one the public votes for). Does anyone else fear though that he may be a bit snubbed by the awards?? Maybe it's just my paranoia:boxed:

I think it's "unjaded in this goddamn world" as in "keep me..overrated, unjaded in this goddamn world" though not sure if unjaded is an official word..poetic licence. I love this song!

Classic stories, thanks for posting. Mika is so normal and funny and un-selfimportant, you can imagine going on a really good night out with him. This is what I love about him! He just doesn't seem to take himself too seriously and I love his sense of humour. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when those "chicks" ( ) blew him out. It's just the sort of thing that I would have unwittingly done a few years ago whilst horribly drunk!
