I applied today I think I've got a good chance, there really aren't that many huge Mika fans here that I know. That's why he's playing a relatively small club. He's pretty unknown. SOOO nervous and I'm leaving my phone on during school tomorrow. A detention is worth it for MIKA!

I wanna do it but by the concert I'll still be two weeks away from being 18... do you think they'd let me?

Anthony Hopkins wasn't in a movie that celebrated the beauty of being a serial killer and sent a message of acceptance for a lifestyle of murdering and eating people. BBM was a movie that said it's okay to be gay. And to this small group of people, that was like saying it's okay to do something that is inherently wrong, immoral, and evil. OK, except he's not popular where I live. But then again, the United States is 40 times bigger than the UK so it's a lot harder to say that an artist is "successful" here.

....but I know exactly how long until MIKA comes to MN! SEVEN! At this day and time next week I'll be driving to Minneapolis!

Yay Jack! You always put things so perfectly! Um, I don't know what you're reading or seeing, but NO politician is using, encouraging, or supporting these people. They are the most hated family in America, and EVERYONE is against them. Whoever told you that American politicians are supporting them is flat out wrong. Period. From my point of view JB only got famous here for his one song, You're Beautiful - which everyone hates now of course because it was so overplayed . Sometimes it just takes one song. And I've never heard any of his other songs on the radio either, but I don't exactly live in the most "happening" of places.

Right now, I'd definitely take that (cough-20cough). No joke, my windshield froze over while I was in school today - not just on the outside, but the inside too. WTF?!? I had to scrape off the inside of my windshield! It's not right!!!

Alright well then I misunderstood you... whenever I hear someone talking about loud beats, gun-toting lyrics, and shaking your assets I assume gangsta rap is what you're talking about because it is such a huge part of our culture. I apologize if you meant something else. And I only use the term gangsta rap because I wanna separate rappers like Soulja Boy from rappers like the guys in Atmosphere. Two different types of rap. And again, I'll still argue that Country music is more popular here than rap.
