Alright, lunch is over and it's time for me to go out into the bitter cold. Thanks for the lovely diversion! I can't wait to read about Mika's Brits performance. I hope everyone here feels better soon. Headaches, colds, all that fun stuff is going around here too.

We got over 6 feet total this winter and 2 more inches are on my driveway waiting for me to go out and shovel it. I am procrastinating JUST a bit more but I am going soon.

Hi Wendy, Blue, Martine, VLM, Robi, Charlotte, and Shari. I hope I didn't miss anyone. If I did, Hello! I caught up with the Vancouver thread yesterday. I have an empty house today. Yesterday, everyone was home because of the snow and school was cancelled.

There were times when there would be girls outside in a robe and a towel around their hair b/c they were in the shower when the alarm went off. Not fun. It builds a complacent attitude about fire alarms, which can be a bad thing if it were for real.

Are you getting all excited to see Mika soon? You have a lot of dates listed. You are so lucky to be so much closer to him than we are.

Well, that's good at least. Fire alarms must just be part of the college experience. Ours used to do that too, go off in the middle of the night or on a Friday evening when everyone was getting ready to go out.

That stinks that they charged you $5 to check the camera in. I noticed they were really trying to intimidate people with the wands. I wonder if they did the same speech to the people outside.

Minneapolis was actually my first choice but I got so freaked out about not getting tickets that I bought them for Chicago when HOB had the presale,. Then, I was informed that we didn't have money to burn so I couldn't buy both. I SO would have loved to go see Mika at First Ave.

I am very thankful for what we got from Chirs and Eric. My dh saw a lady get tossed out for having a camera so maybe people were afraid to use the ones that they sneaked in?

I think we were in the least documented gig of his North American tour. I know the venue said no cameras but we saw so many! Oh well. Thanks for posting that on youtube. For some reason, I am unable to log into my youtube account to mark it as a favourite.

Yea, I want him to get bigger here but it's been nice to see him in the smaller venues to feel like you are actually watching him perform. In big arenas, the preformers are so far away and tiny that you end up watching them in the monitors. Bye Taylor. You'll have to tell us what some of these CRAZY fans were doing!

procrastination, hmm, I know how that goes... Did you have school today? We had a snow day here. I was just reading in the LA thread about how Mika was getting so big, it makes me wonder what the next tour will be like.
