Wow thanks going to watch now!
EDIT : Great interview! 25min of Mika talking
To those who have been at the Vienne gig coming from US, South Korea, Russia, Spain, Italy, UK, Mika mentioned you again at the end of this interview
Maybe it will be North America before the 31st of October, then Germany, Netherlands or around between Belgium and Italy, and then Asia end of November?
Because radio airplay doesn't necessarily mean success I guess. But Celebrate is gaining places in the charts, maybe it just needs more time (and a video)
Maybe not 24978647843 times more (I did not copy the whole number ) but yes I think the live version is more powerful. It will probably be the case with all songs we have heard live and not recorded yet though.. It just shows how good he is on stage
We'll get to listen to the recorded song tonight!
Lisa Smith @lisalaurasmith
On @jowhiley tonight we have WORLD EXCLUSIVE play of 'Origin Of Love' the lead track fromt the new album by @mikasounds listen @BBCRadio2
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thoughts here! What a fantastic gift for you
So you didn't really like Stardust?
I don't know how it works everywhere else but I know that in France they have musical premieres with hairdressers in the audience so that they spread the word about the show around Paris. You are Mika's hairdressers
It is apparently, according to mellody
Karin @mellody76
setlist:tool, lola, step with me,stardust, underwater, sth where he didnt say the title, maybe it was kids?,emily(=elle me dit),popular, heroes.
I still can't believe there's a gig in Roubaix I'll be there of course (and thanks Ilse)
I think there are seats reserved for some people for the whole year. They suscribe and have their seats for the whole season just like in a football stadium
I was sceptical about the hat when I was looking at pics on here, but when you see him on stage I find it suits him quite well.
Oh thank you for saying that!! I've been trying to help her via the Internet for a few weeks now and as I was not coming to Gruchet it was hard to figure it all out. At the end I said I thought the best solution was to ask for help to MFCers, I'm glad you were so helpful.
Thank you for the photo, it reminds me of this amazing night in Vienne.
Thanks for the link, I watched the gig
In Vienne he introduced SITM saying it was a song he wrote when he was 17 when he was angry at his Lebanese grandmother, and that she hadn't known it until then. He translated 'I sit and think about the day that you're gonna die' into French and said he used these lyrics with a happy melody so that made it a love song. I have no idea if this anecdote was already said anytime before
Thanks for sharing your vids/pics/impressions on the gig!
