  1. I don't see any Mikaspression in this song:wink2: Just nice french poetry:thumb_yello:
  2. Yes it is but I looked at the lyrics and couldn't find much, maybe because I listen to a lot of french songs... One example: je plombe l'ambiance... We will rather say something like : je casse le party
  3. I would not dare make fun of you, you were such a good sport! Thanks for sharing
  4. Thanks for making me realize there was more than one art to the interview:thumb_yello: Quite interesting!
  5. Well, it's mostly this one station but it'sbetter than nothing! And they just post the Underwater video on their website!
  6. It's 201 on pop canadian itunes... Was still in the top 20 a few weeks back at archambault, Quebec's biggest music store... But I was surprised to see Karen on radio, and even more that ir's getting so high... Not going to complain: any exposure is good!
  7. Yes it does... I remember driving around to listen to it while I was visiting... P.S. Quebec is my hometown:fisch:
  8. CKOI does play them, Karen is #8 in the top 30 French songs:thumb_yello:
  9. Well, given the almost non-existent promo, I think it did pretty well. It was still in the top 20 anglo CD on Archambault last week:thumb_yello: We'll see soon if the Journal de Québec xmas suggestion will bring more sales:blush-anim-cl:
  10. yes, he also mentionned in an Irish interview that TOOL was #1 in Quebec and I'm pretty sure he got that from tweets we had sent him... certainly not from the record company:naughty:
  11. Felix has 2 account, that post was under plastic plates:thumb_yello:
  12. I totally agree with everything you say in this and previously... Where I tend to diverge is that I seem to like artists who are either from or popular in far away part of the world... So the music must be enough:thumb_yello: even if not very frequent:fisch:
  13. I agree with what Kath wrote!

  14. I don't think the phenomena is new... I was a member of the Bon Jovi fan club in the 80:naughty: and I just read John Taylor's bio (DD bassist) and he talks throughout the books about their fans and how faithful they were (and still are). The means are just different. Mika brought the fangurl back in me (times 1000) and since then, I have done things that I never thaught I would do and never did in the past. But there is a line I will never be able to cross, I will never have the freedom and financial means to start follow him all around the globe. If that doesn't make me qualify as a "Mika fan" then so be it, but I will forever be anyway:blush-anim-cl:
  15. Glad to see I am not alone in my boat! I often refer to myself as a low-maintenance fan:thumb_yello: Should we start a club?
  16. I love it the first time I saw it, I love it even more now that I watch it on abigger screen... That's all I have to say about it:wub2:
  17. But Mika is clearly not the only one pop singer who is taking more than 12 months to release a new album? Do we really want him to be like one of those prefabricated singers/groups like Bieber or One Direction? What I don't like is the lack of promo/consideration that some markets get. Quebec being one of them. Besides a few interviews tapped while he was at the balloon festival a month before the album was released, there was nothing else... And it,s not because lack of sales, because the album IS selling. I can only imagine what it could be with a proper promo plan (and a few shows).
  18. I went to the radio station website earlier and couldn,t find anything. As soon as I see one, I will post it
