I'm no expert either, it's just that I've always been more used to American accent and I can usually understand it better than British, which was gibberish to me until some months ago, therefore when I started watching his interviews I noticed I could understand him better in the newer ones, 'cause his British accent wasn't that strong anymore. Anyway, he said in a recent interview that he tends to mimic the accent of the person he's talking to, because he doesn't really have his own.

I can only say that I'm in love with his cover of ''We'll be coming back'', his voice is veeery low in some parts and it gives me goosebumps every single time. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about, but in case you don't, here it is

Ah, you're right, he doesn't seem to say ''deserve'', but what is it then? Can the first letter be a R or a W? And then I hear a S right after. Actually my first guess was he says ''It's just what I was..'' and a word I don't understand at all. No idea. I think it's funny that even you native English speakers can't understand what he says at times XD At least you too hear ''Good time friend not just the good time''. I was unsure of that one as well because I honestly don't understand what's supposed to mean. Does it make sense in English?
