Tis indeed.

Saw a guy at the bus stop the other day - mid 50s, sucking a lollipop - rather concerning

Yeh doesnt seem to work that does it

but how??? noone minds them when you talk to someone..."oh, let him be he's just old"

if I was a minor...

That should not matter - if he scared you then he has committed

an offence!! Next time shout very loudly "Go away" or something

like that - and maybe the embarrassment will put him off!!!

Well this guy was 18 or something:blink:

I can also recall that my friend and I were spit on, we didn't do anything, just 2 guys on a scooter came by and spit on us.

I don't get it. Why would they do that if we didn't even look at them?

And I hate it if men just say those things to me. I'm wearing normal clothes, if I was walking around with a miniskirt I'd kind of understand it (though it still is sick) but the wolfwhistling makes me sick. And also comments like: What's your price? makes me feel very patronized:blink:

It can also provoke.

So just dont react to it, walk in the direction of a public place/shop

Spitting is assault!! Its sad you get this kind of abuse - but men

who put you in a state of fear and alarm ARE committing an offence!! (In the UK that is the law anyway!!)

If its an old man then the chances are he will not want to

risk the public attention - younger guys are a different matter
