Who wouldn’t want to climb around on that giant chap stick, it looks like fun? Nothing wrong with her ability to sing (the right notes) but her voice didn’t seem as strong and clear as usual. But I think it has a lot to do with circumstances, there’s a big difference when you’re in a studio or are doing your own show. This girl is great:wub2:…and I believe she has a long and remarkable career in front of her! I even think Mika can count himself happy to be one of her friends! Ioana
Sorry but her ability to sing...not convincing. I always said that "I kissed a girl" is the worse live. And this time she was obviously almost peeing herself ,I mean come on,millions watching! Chourus was better this time..but still I could have done great without the "look at this big chapstick" "careful with poping the cherry" and "it's important how you sit on the banana" At one point it got too much,or was that the theme of the Ema's? In that case,my bad
kaeryana
i seriously gotta catch the EMA's later..it's not aired here till 9pm (which in my case, will be on at about half an hour)
Ioana
mwahahah and you were all aginst Hercules&Love Affair coz they sucked live?! Katy Perry has her voice "digitally" hyper boosted & smoothered Remember I liked them, just not in front of me. Plus that skanky thing is better when you don't have visuals Have you heard her early songs? The voice is completely different I mean your voice can only mature to a point...and mine hasn't changed that dramatically since I was 17 just sayin... Perhaps the fact that she smokes has to do with it? No offence to anyone, but that can be really bad for your voice. In some cases it doesn't, but in a lot other cases... mwahahah and you were all aginst Hercules&Love Affair coz they sucked live?! Katy Perry has her voice "digitally" hyper boosted & smoothered Yeah. I do think some songs sound good live, but most of her just don't do it for me. Oh, and H&LA, they also just didn't have charism. It just looked messy, they couldn't sing, the instruments sounded like crap..it was just CRAP!
RAK1
She convinced me yesterday that she can not sing I kissed a girl !It really sucked My mom and me were like WTF is she really singing or what ? She dissapointed me Honest , no word of a lie, she CAN sing it better live. I've seen her twice, and she sang it great, no straining or wavering
Marilyn Mastin
I thought Katy did a good job with presenting. I didn't like the inuendos, but I'm from an older generation than most of you. I wasn't impressed with her singing voice, but I don't like 'I Kissed a Girl' anyway, especially when I know that the American media played that song on the radio, and they won't play anything by Mika! Lol, I'm a teenager, and I didn't like the innuendo's that much either:naughty: I was like: Geez, is that all you can come up with? So funny! Hmm..I quite like the song, but it's one of my least favourite songs on the album. Unfortunately, it did a better job than Hot N Cold over here so far, wich I quite don't understand:blink:

I suspect she's been smoking for a long time anyway...I don't really know why an artist who depends on his voice ( and I don't mean those who rock n roll n yell ) smokes but moving on I thought Katy did a good job with presenting. Well even my younger self got bored pretty quick of those innuendos, which to be honest weren't even innuendos. They were obvious hints The greatest one was: Perez : So how do you think you will do tonight? Will you suck? Katy: Well,my boyfriend's here wonderful...don't mind the millions that may be watching
