He's a mutt but aren't we all? When he was one year old they moved to Paris and lived there for eight or nine years within the whole implanted Lebanese community. When his Dad was taken hostage in Kuwait they moved over to London where he was taken out of school for a year due to diverse problems with bullying pupils and teachers and dyslexia. During this year he had a private Russian singing teacher with a mole who tortured him but also 'stood him in good stead' for his further career which started at the age of eleven in the choir of a creepy Strauss opera. A bubblegum jingle brought 45 bucks and as Mika thought that this couldn't be as good as it gets he started songwriting and demoing in secret. Leaving school he started studying at the Royal College of music whilst aiming on a professional pop music career.
