JoPerrin
As everyone knows Mika did alot of performances with Classical people in mind. His first ever performance was Strauss. He also put some classical music in Grace Kelly (marrage of Figaro) I was wondering if anyone likes Classical music? I love all the classical music. My favourite composer is Mozart. mandilambi
Tchaikovsky will always be my favorite composer. He was brilliant and didn't always get the credit that he deserved! Did you all know that on the opening night of the Nutcracker, all of the critics hated it? How wrong were they?? I also love Mozart, Brahms, Handel, Claire Schumann, and Rogers and Hammerstein. wasabi_tea
I like classical music! I really like Renaissance and Baroque era music in particular (lutes and harpsichords FTW!), but there's great stuff from all eras, I think. I love stuff that's in the minor key XD (Actually, Shostakovich did some gorgeous pieces in the minor key, ahhhh...) and I also like modes, whole tone scales, and serialism if it's used effectively (it can sound awful otherwise) - basically, 'weird' tonality is good LOL! And I think that classical countertenors are majorly spiffy
Gatagordinha
My fave is JS Bach - especially his Brandenburg Concertos. I love Baroque music, it's something to do with the structure of it, and I really like the sound of harpsichord.
suzie
I love classical music. Since I used to play the violin in a school orchestra and played in a string&piano quartet when I was young, I still prefer string instruments, although I love opera as well. If I had to choose, I'd say that my favourite composers are Verdi, Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Schumann and Mendelsson but I do enjoy Bach, Tchaikovsky or Haydn as well, so actually I prefer not to name favourite composers but favourite type of classical music by era.. but I won't do it now, I have to go back to work...
