I really loved it too! But a LOT of people apparently HATED IT!!! Called it cheesy, over the top... whatever....

 

It's SUPPOSED to be "fantastical" - it's a DREAM, for f***'s sake! Oh, whatever....Different strokes for different folks, I guess.......:shocked:

Yeah, I think he can learn a lot from this video - it's NOT his best- but there are good facets to it! I think the sentiment behind it is charming, though.... Oh whatever... I think we all need to chill..:naughty: there are about 4 or 5 threads all screaming about the same thing... it's getting redundant, not to mention tiresome... let's give the poor guy a little bit of credit, for a change....:wink2:

I never said they weren't good things in it... ;) ;)

For a change??? It's the first time in a long time I hear some criticism... I think it's far more constructive than the "Mika is the best whatever he does" thing we've all got into lately... But it's my personal opinion again and I have to admit I'm not in a good mood today ;)

Hey, you and everyone else are totally allowed to express your views and criticize Mika to your hearts' content! No problem here! I don't think we should be sitting around deaf, dumb, blind and stupid about ANYONE'S music (or acting, or entertaining, or preaching or WHATEVER!) We're not brain dead or lobotomized - at least I hope we aren't YET! And personally, we all know that Mika is not the best at whatever he does.... hence the illnesses, the cancellations, the disappointments... ad nauseum... And he certainly proved that again today with this video. He's young, he's learning, and yeah, he's gonna make mistakes. We all do. That's how we learn.

 

And don't you dare apologize for being in a bad mood today. I'm having a ****ty life. That's the way it goes. Life's a bitch and then you die. I am not coming down hard on you. I totally get you. I hope you get me and what I am trying to say. We're ALLOWED to feel the way we do! We just try and make the best out of bad situations... It's called "The Real World". Don't get mad, get even.:wink2:

 

And make sure you answer me, so I know you understand and are not upset!:wink2:

if this means you can be with the one you truly love...... as the Simpsons say - DUH ! Not rocket science! You will be SOOOO much happier!

I'm sure your kids will be just fine with all your family members and you visiting as often as you can. The important thing is that you get out and move on with your life, as you are about to do. That is just so fantastic! No one should have to compromise their life with someone they not only do not love but who abuses them and compromises their health, welfare and lifestyle. I also left an incredibly abusive marriage and I never look back. It was the BEST decision of my life! It is now 12 years later and I cannot believe how far I've come, the strength and growth I've attained. You, too, will achieve all of this!!! I'm soooo excited for you!!:thumb_yello:

 

And Sasje, if there is ever ANYTHING I can do to help you - with anything - do not hesitate to PM me or just drop a line here in the bar...:biggrin2: 24/7!

 

I know I still have miles and miles to go in my own personal journey - I've had the most unbelievable life, and it is STILL unfolding! But I am a fighter and a survivor... and I can tell, you are too.... I see one of the leading trauma specialists in Vancouver who has helped me turn my life right around and I am about to sit down and write a book (or 2 or 3) about my trials and tribulations.... The mfc forum has given me the confidence to start writing again....

 

BTW - what will you be doing in England? Do you have a place to live lined up yet? I'm sure you must have contacts from mfc! That must be a help...

just relaxing...so much going on ...sounds like an emotional night for you and Sasje . It is for me too. Being in a bad relationship is not good at all. I was in a horrible on years ago. I was with a guy for 5 years and it was horrible and very emotionally draining but once I broke up with him and went through a very very traumatic experience ,,things changed...I never knew how to compose a piece or even what composing meant before 2002 and then in late 2002 when I had pneumonia I finally wrote a beautiful song of love..and I didn't need any help. .the song just appeared like out of a shell and from then on , I have composed 20 pieces...music is love...music is my life....and MIKA' music has struck a chord in my heart..especially tonight after Ritchie opened my eyes about what he feels the HE video is actually about...
