Move to London....:naughty:

If I were going to move anywhere... it would be either London,

or maybe Italy...

You know, many moons ago, we were very close to moving to London --

my husband had the work permit and I was ready to book our dogs into

a kennel there because they had the 6-month rabies quarantine...

Wonder what it would take to move now? :naughty:

What on earth is a 'sophisticated urban assault':roftl:

It sounds good, though, doesn't it, Sarah? :roftl:

Nice shoes for going assaulting, Carri! :thumb_yello:

Yes, depending on where you might have a shock about the weather!

If you're moving overseas...

Virginia is much much more moderate, climate wise... and we have the

nation's capital right here, lots to do... built in friends as well :biggrin2:

London's really not all it's cracked up to be. I would much prefer to be by the sea or in the country....it has it's plus sides though.... I wonder if you would still have got into Mika if you had been in London? Do you think your tastes would have changed??

Night Carri and Shari!

And Candboys, I've added you to the Oldlings list -- you're #60!

I love London, Sarah -- I'm really a city girl at heart. Hubby prefers the

seaside, but I love city life. I fear for our future together! :naughty:

As for Mika... yes, I imagine I would have known about Mika

even sooner if I lived in London, actually...

goodnight carrie and shari.

Charli- I can see there can be many jokes about a car named Mika!

dcdeb, thanks for the add!

My brother just moved back to Chicago from London. He was over there for aobut 2 years and I never did go and visit him. I should have. We were in DC at the time and the flights would have been so simple. Canada is cold but people that live in cold areas adapt quite well, I think. It was -1 F the other day and 22 F seemed so balmy!

I am in and out too. Feeding the kids and all that.

Night Shari - I like the sound of an electric blanket...I might have to dig out my Winnie the Pooh hot water bottle!

Well, duty calls, my Oldlings -- the PTA president has just called

and needs me to do something *immediately*. We're in desperate need

of 10 chaperones for a field trip tomorrow -- I have to see who I can

find on such short notice!

Hope to see some of you tomorrow!

Sweet dreams!
