Awww im so sorry for everyone. But at least you will be able to see him next year. Mika and the band get some rest, you deserve it!! Im sure we/they understand.

I'm so sorry too!that's a real pity!I didn't catch exactly why Mika has,but anyway I wish him to get well as soon as he can!!!:wink2:

Poor Mica... hope he gets better soon..

Well... I'm taking Eurostar from Paris tomorrow morning.. So no gig for me I guess... :tears: :tears:

But still, ppl who are in the same situation, what about having a drink all together ?? You know, just gathering and sending good vibes to our poor Big M who surely feels like hell about all this... :wub2: :wub2: :wub2: :wub2:

Just let me know, I'll be with Lillibet and Fouchonneret

Love

Sarah

MIKA POSTPONEMENT STATEMENT

03/12/2007

It is with much regret that I have been forced to postpone my two remaining shows on my UK tour on 3 and 4 December at Hammersmith Apollo and Brixton Academy respectively. Over the past few days I have been fighting off a virus that has affected the majority of my band and crew. I thought after last night’s performance I could do the shows but this morning it was obvious I could not proceed. After consulting a specialist, I have been advised to rest my voice for a minimum of 48 hours. If I did not do this I would risk long term damage to my vocal chords. I can only apologise to everyone who has bought a ticket and the inconvenience and disappointment this postponement has caused. We are looking at rescheduling these dates early in the New Year; as soon as we have I will let you all know. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding

It is an awkward situation for everyone, I see that. But without the mfc it would be worse. Let's face it, for all the people who have travelled and queued there will be no Mika today and tomorrow but there's still the other members. I'm sure after the first disappointment they'll find a way to jolly themselves and each other along. They're not alone so, I'd say it could be worse and it will still be a memorable experience. I know basically it sucks (time, money, inconvenience and whatnot) but ....:fisch: always look on the bright side of life... At least try to...

I hope nobody will give Mika and the band a hard time for not being there.

They deserved their downtime and if it is needed NOW then that's how it is.

I couldn't have said better myself.

I really hope nobody will give them a hard time because of that...I can't even imagine how sad and disappointed they must be right now, but yet- the most important thing is Mika's and the band's health.
