Lucy
Perfect plan.... we need to be in a nice WARM place CLOSE to the venue where we have a clear view..... and we stay there UNTIL we see the first sign of anyone..... then we all run to get in line!!!!! HOW IS THAT!!!!!! :naughty: We would look so funny and crazy. A bunch of MFCERS running towards the line and everyone would be like "what the f***? AKateisaKate
Now we're getting somewhere! I think that's the most sensible thing- to look for people and see. Holly, I totally understand your excitement and desire to be front rowat the show -- I've been to two Mika shows so far and was in the front row both times. I can't imagine being anywhere else -- even though I'm sure being in the fourth fifth sixth row is probably OK, I'm only 5'1" and I want to SEEEEEE the stage! But having said that, I've also been to NYC in February -- and it's cold. And if there's been a snow recently, it's colder. And we won't even mention what it's like if there's been an ice storm. Doors don't open until 7. That's after the sun has gone down. Brrrr. We're going to freeze our little tushies off, I think. I've done some searching and finally found some info on the venue. http://newyork.metromix.com/music/article/inside-terminal-5/228660/content It holds 3000, which I thought I had heard somewhere, but couldn't confirm until I saw this. The venue in Glasgow held 2500, so it's roughly the same -- big, but not overwhelmingly so... but still, that's a lot of people. So... everyone will have to do what they think is best for them. Personally, I agree that we don't want to create a panic by saying that we're getting there so early that others feel they have to get there *earlier*... But I can only speak for myself -- and as I've already said, so much will depend on what time my flight/train gets into the city, how long it takes me to check in at my hotel, etc. I want to be there as early as I can, but I doubt that I'll be there before noon no matter what. All just FWIW. dcdeb :thumb_yello: Yes, yes! I was having trouble phrasing that.

I was having trouble phrasing that. Yea, and since it isn't a summer show, I'm sure there will be a lot of people arriving later so they don't have to wait in the freezing cold for many hours. Asked Jess, I remember when MIKA got out of the GMA studios and started thanking all his fans for waiting for him in the rain. He hugged lots of fans. I saw him!!!
