chickadee
Hello! My piano and music teachers are always telling me how lucky I am to have really long fingers. But I don't think that they are that long.. Ha! If I was ever in any doubt that I have short fingers, my piano teacher (all those long, long years ago) confirmed it for me. But he used to say that having short fingers made it easier to play fast running passages. Not so sure that was actually true and it doesn't help me now. We had birdies when I was a child (even longer ago). We had budgerigars and finches, but they weren't tame like yours seem to be. I think it's cos we never had just one, we always had many and therefore they would be in a big aviary outside and not really inside and part of the family. Oakie Doke
Once again, my little brother is hogging the Xbox. You should probably slap him with a fish haha, your bird is so cute with its neck-thingi have a blue indian ring neck, he is a nice birdy we used to have wild birds too, but this one landed at my grandparents place quite tame, and i have ended up with him Tell me about it. Aww, he sounds lovely, and what an amazing way of getting him! One of our cats walked in off the street and decided he wanted to stay here Ha! If I was ever in any doubt that I have short fingers, my piano teacher (all those long, long years ago) confirmed it for me. But he used to say that having short fingers made it easier to play fast running passages. Not so sure that was actually true and it doesn't help me now. Lol! Well Lisa Simpson also has 'much too short' fingers, but she's still good I've just been off practicing, and I can play Jingle Bells! Sort of... I can't do it to the backing yet, I have to stop and think everytime before I change the right hand, LOL. We had birdies when I was a child (even longer ago). I think it's cos we never had just one, we always had many and therefore they would be in a big aviary outside and not really inside and part of the family. Aww, everyone here has/has had birdies! Jolene
I used to have a huge aviary in my old house, it was a pool which someone had converted. When we bought the house the birds were included. It was really nice until one day we went out to feed that (we only feed them in bulk about once a week cause there were so many of them) and a smake of something had eaten them all I am talking about 100 birds or so. After that we just had 2 weiros until they died too a few years later I think we will get the kids a bird one day......
