Wendi
Lol that sounds dodgy as hell! How are you today Wendy? Been up and about early driving your daughter around? I know it sounds dodgy - I just couldn't resist!!! Yes - one of those journeys where the air of disapproval hung heavy in the car!!! I hate rushed mornings, and had to leave younger daughter (14) in house! That would not normally bother me too much, she is quite grown-up, and only has to go to end of our farm track for the bus, but because the weather is so bad, was worried about the roads etc, and my eyes were nipping with tiredness!! I kept having to swerve to avoid branches, and its a small, very winding road, so coming round corners all of a sudden there was half a tree down on the road! First you're snowed in, now you're attacked by branches.. What is up?! Oh and rushed mornings are the worst. My brother's gf always get up 15 mins before she needs to leave the house and I don't understand how she does it! I need at least half an hour or sitting-down-watching-the-news time before I even hit the shower!

Its a farmhouse, in a Glen, and its 500 ft higher than the town, so we get a lot of snow here, and because the roads have trees on both sides, when there is a strong wind bits of the trees get broken, and land on the road. Saying all that - it is a beautiful place to live!!

Hello my dears Hiya Fred hi folks!wendi i wonder if you ever think about moving to a more comfortable place....i mean a flat in a village/town, with no coal to carry and snow to dig! eheheheheheh silly piece of advice, isn't it? there MUST be a very good reason for you to live among wolves!!! i think you are very brave and tough...i could not cope with all yr physical work...i would die after one day! woo-ooo for scottish women! ok back to work...see ya soon!! I love the peace out here, and I know where my children are at night, its too far to walk, so I take them in, and need to know when and where to pick them up. They usually don't bother going out. The scenery is wonderful - I love the drive out here, through all the trees, and I can play my trumpet and sax outside in the summer, and no-one complains. The dogs are happy with the big garden too. One of the main reasons is that the house is big - its over 100 years old, and you just cant get big rooms in the more modern type house!!
Wendi
Here are pictures of my house, and the area where I live Here is my house, the stream at the bottom of my garden - and the view from either side of the bridge a few miles down the road. I drive over the bridge every day - and the views are quite stunning!! Wendi
Wendi....wow.....(I have got no words....) astonishing area... Thanks - the house looks a bit scruffy, its before things started growing, and everything looks old - but in the summer the banking is covered in daffodils, and wild flowers. The house does not look very big, but it has 4 large bedrooms, and is very spacious!
Wendi
The left-hand door, on the building to the left of my house, is my coal shed - thats why it takes a while for me to get coal!! And at night its pitch black - no street lamps out here
