nicole
think monkeys...brass ones and you may get a clue, and our weather is so unpredictable who knows what it will do. It's always a bit warmer in Londond too than it is up t'north. Ok. I am happy with everything, exept rain. Rain is the worst thing that can happen. RAK1
I’m going with my daughter. She is just 17… Will it be a problem to go clubbing with her at night in London? I think you have to be over 21 to go most clubs in London, certainly over 18. As far as the meet and greets after the concerts are concerned, the Brixton show in December, he only left in a hurry because he wasn't well just like in Plymouth and Brighton. There is a very good chance of him sticking around longer if he is healthy, he us always up for it, if he feels okay. I suspect the last show he may rush off for an aftershow party, if they don't have one in the Academy, in which case, they may be a bit of a longer wait, but it's worth it. Mici
my friend checked obsessively temps site and she said it's gonna be rather good in feb. smt like 7 °C or smt. in daytime. it was very warm in dec. over 10°C in the day. I wonder who that obsessive friend of yours might be??! Jokes aside, we were really lucky in December weather wise, it was perfect and i was too much in panic mode thinking it will be very cold. avoca
I'd prefer partying in central london, see above. ifnot, somewhere reachable by tube (before tube closes).

avoca
there aren't bus races all nite long? there are. if fact I said I'd PREFER. I have the oyster card and cabs are very pricey, so i'd stick to tube. but group doesn't have to select a location depending on MY tastes or needs.. it's be nice but I don't expect it

Mici
i will probbaly catch up with my friends in city center if am not too exhausted from the long flight, jet lag, dancing MAO during the gig we will see how it goes.. as I said, am flexible Flights can be exhausting for sure, i got 5 hours of flight to London, even if its short one it is very tiring. Too bad i will be only until the 28th in London ( won't be in the gig unfortunatly), i would have loved to stay more, but i can't afford it. -Jennie-
Well those wanting to get the last tube will have to leave sometime between 11 and 12, depending on how far they need to go etc. Also don't rely on the last tube time too heavily. There are ALWAYS problems with the tubes and anything can happen to change the times or even if the train is running. (For example - Me, Laura and Danika were just out and had a bit of trouble getting home since they closed the entire Picadilly line because someone jumped under a train ) Yes, there are night buses, most of which are fine, but there are some places you don't want to go through on a night bus or by foot. If I'm in central London and want to get the last train home, I can't leave any later than 10:45 or 11pm Age restrictions for almost all bars and clubs is 18 (except a few specialist ones which may be 21, but that's very rare) although anyone who looks under 21 will be asked for ID to prove they are over 18. (most places are pretty strict about this) Wouldn't recommend Brixton at night really....especially for those not familiar with the area, plus there aren't exactly and great places to go anyway. Um....can't remember what else you've been talking about but when people have ideas of where to go and what to do, let me know and i'll be there! sparkly1
I must admit I am a bit terrified of getting stranded at Brixton due to hanging about in the hope of a quick hello from Mika and I will be sooo tempted to hang about too and miss the last tube home, I have no idea yet where I am gonna be staying or where is best cos I have 5 nights and the gigs are Hammersmith Brixton and we go to see wicked at Victoria area I think too also our trains are fro kings cross so I am all confused about what area is best to get to and from late at night when you don't know the area at all. Victoria area is good because its just the Victoria Line straight to Brixton or the District straight to Hammersmith. As long as you're pretty central though it doesn't make much difference. kittie88
I think we need to find out about the late night buses because if ppl want to stay later than it is likely they will miss the last tube so we should find out more about the buses so nobody has to rely on expensive taxis!!! Marianne84
I asked a Londoner (Fez ) if he knows any good places where we could go, and he told me about a bar called The Firestation, which is an old firestation. Should we check when it's open?
