I know some Arabic words and a few phrases, but not much... I know french pretty well actually. I would probably be better with levantine/lebanese variations and the grammar(structure) because there are french words used... some english too(informally) I'd like to learn more of Arabic in general though. (sorry for rambling a bit...) *will keep an eye on this thread...*

DanaCheaib
Hey! I speak Arabic! I live in Dubai so the government forces my school to teach Arabic, and it's a French school. But I'm Lebanese so we speak arabic around the house and everything.

xBillyBrownx
Marhaba/ hey! I think thatt the Arabic language is very interesting. I know some Arabic words and a few phrases, but not much... I know french pretty well actually. I would probably be better with levantine/lebanese variations and the grammar(structure) because there are french words used... some english too(informally) I'd like to learn more of Arabic in general though. (sorry for rambling a bit...) *will keep an eye on this thread...* I know Lebnese does use a lot of French words.. Arabic is very interesting yet can be extremeley difficult at times. I personally struggle a lot with the grammar and stuff with formal Arabic. But I do know quite a lot of non-native speakers who have been able to learn very quickly.. so I guess it varies:blink: haha it's okay i'm a rambler as well:naughty: hey i can speak and write arabic in lebanon we say ''hi kifak , ça va ?'' (hello , how are you ? are you ok ?) which combines english , lebanese and french hehehehe this is what we TALK but we write differently , if i have to write what i said i would write ''marhaban , kayfa halouka ? tamam ?'' which is as you notice VERY different ! Haha it's so funny how our dialects can include such different words. It's the same here in Egypt.. We'd just say "Hi ezzayak/ezzayek".. But it's still cool because we get to learn a lot of different languages, especially if you're Lebanese because French is so widespread:naughty:
