dcdeb
so why are you happy then , if i may ask, sir? He was chatting with me on MSN -- doesn't that always make you happy? Personally, I think Mr. FD is looking forward to an exciting weekend Oldlings, I have to tear my self away from the computer and go do housewively-stuff:thumbdown: Oh you had to say that, AMP... now I feel guilty. Suppose I should go and be a responsible adult too... See you later, my dear Oldlings (honorary and otherwise!)... dcdeb

Diana
Erm, Diana: my girls were very cool when they were born:sneaky2: But you are right: it was (with all three of them!) very difficult for other people to tell if they were boys or girls. Untill they were about 5 or so people mostly called them boys. It annoyed me, I was always correcting people. Yeah that must be very annoying indeed! Meanwhile, my son, who I thought looked VERY boyish, was alwaysmistaken for a girl -- even though I dressed him in blue! In fact, one day, after I'd had him in for an Easter photo, he was wearing a little blue suit with a bow tie -- and a woman said to me, "Oh, how adorable SHE is!" dcdeb He was wearing a blue suit with a bow tie and the woman called him a she? Come on, that woman MUST have been mental!! Do you have a fascination with bow ties just like Mika Deb? I looked very much like a girl as a baby. My mum got my ears pierced when I was about 1 so by then it was even easier to tell what I was. Ba ba to everyone that's leaving. xx

Wendi
Good afternoon Oldlings Aw that's cute. Baby boys are always so much cooler than girls. With girls it's often hard to see whether they actually are girls.. but boys almost always look well.. boyish. I put a silly pink fabric headband on my girls, with a little pink bow on the top of it!!! I had three boys already, so when the girls came along I wanted people to know!!! :roftl:

Happy Birthday to your son by the way. 18 Years old! He must feel all "I'm a grown up, you can't tell me what to do anymore mom!" now! Having a step-son with autism mustn't be an easy thing. He must feel all "I'm a grown up, you can't tell me what to do anymore mom!" now! Having a step-son with autism mustn't be an easy thing. It was a handful when there were four of them of 5 and under!! That was hard work - but great fun. My lad who turned 18 today is still a big softie with me!! He is a good lad most of the time. My step-son was 34 yesterday and I took his presents down to him. It is difficult to tell if he is happy - but very easy to tell if he is in a bad mood!!! He managed the jigsaw I got him, with a little help, and he liked his other presents too.
