I just checked the Terminal 5 site and finally today they have the support act for NYC listed: The Midway State. They opened for Mika in Paris last year on a few dates, didn't they? But I've found Boston bands playing the same day in different countries and I know one of them is playing at my college Saturday. I wonder if The Midway State will open for him since NYC is the gig right after Boston. But seriously -- Daughtry was a runner-up on American Idol a year or two ago, and he's doing phenomenally well (better than many of the winners), so it's just me who doesn't like him, I think. He was a runner up in Fame Academy and is one of our biggest Urban stars now. Point of interest, Mandy Moores uncle is an actor here in England.His name is Ian Lavender and was in Dads Army in the '70s and more recently in Eastenders. Just thought I'd mention it. I think I've heard his songs on MTV.... repeatedly. I do admit MTV/VH1 along with the radio stations kind turn me off from some songs if they're played way too much.
