A. Clay
Wow, thanks A. Clay! The report was great and it sounds like it was fantastic. I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious: why do you write in capitals? DON'T KNOW, CAN'T SAY: GUESS THINGS JUST HAPPEN THAT WAY!
Oakie Doke
THEN I STARTED SAYING SOMETHING THATI HAD NOT PLANNED TO SAY, IT JUST CAME SPILLING OUT . . . I absolutely hate the way everybody writes their reports - are you actually trying to give us all nervous breakdowns? :naughty: ACTUALLY I THINK IT WAS MIKA HIMSELF WHOMOTIONED THE CAMERA MAN TO COME CLOSER! SO THIS IS WHAT I REMEMBER SAYING: "I'M 66 YEARS OLD: I'M THE LEADER OF YOUR GRANNY BRIGADE." "I HOPE I'M NOT TRASHING YOUR IMAGE." (There was some laughing.) THEN MIKA SAID TO ME SOMETHING PRETTY CLOSE TO: "OH NO, YOU'LL HAVE TO COME TO ONE OF THE SHOWS & COME UP ON STAGE." That is fantastic!
Sarina
I SAID SOMETHING PRETTY CLOSE TO, "I'M 66 YEARS OLD, I'M THE LEADER. . . " THEN SOMEONE MOTIONED MIKA'S CAMERA MAN TO COME CLOSER & THE LIGHTS GOT BRIGHTER, & NO FOOLIN', MIKA PROMPTED ME TO REPEAT WHAT I HAD STARTED TO SAY--ACTUALLY I THINK IT WAS MIKA HIMSELF WHO MOTIONED THE CAMERA MAN TO COME CLOSER! SO THIS IS WHAT I REMEMBER SAYING: "I'M 66 YEARS OLD: I'M THE LEADER OF YOUR GRANNY BRIGADE." "I HOPE I'M NOT TRASHING YOUR IMAGE." (There was some laughing.) THEN MIKA SAID TO ME SOMETHING PRETTY CLOSE TO: "OH NO, YOU'LL HAVE TO COME TO ONE OF THE SHOWS & COME UP ON STAGE." COMPLETELY FLOORED, I STAMMERED, SOMETHING PRETTY CLOSE TO: "WELL, I DON'T KNOW; WE'LL JUST HAVE TO SEE ABOUT . . . T H A T!" I really don't know if MIKA then moved on to the next person or if I, completely startled, just turned on my heels & left. I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER!. ANYWAY, I'LL NEVER FORGET IT. THERE IS A GREAT SENSE OF SATISFACTION TO HAVE EXCHANGED A FEW WORDS WITH MIKA, TO HAVE SEEN HIM "UP CLOSE & PERSONAL," WITH HIS FANS & TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TAKE HIS HAND TO THANK HIM FOR COMING TO THE UNITED STATES. HAVE NO IDEA IF, WHERE OR WHEN THE CAMERA FOOTAGE MAY SHOW UP! AFTER A LITTLE DIFFICULTY GETTING A CAB, "BIG DADDY DALE" & I GOT TO THE ONLY PLACE I KNOW OF IN PHILLY THAT WILL FEED YOU IF YOUR ARSE HITS THE CHAIR BY 12:59 AFTER MIDNIGHT. OH, WHAT A NIGHT! Oh my!!! I love this post! AMAZING

mgpm
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, Alice!!! He WILL remember. So now, you must go to another concert. Yes?! So happy for you that you got to talk to him. He has a magical quality to him, it's just unforgettable. I WISH I had gotten to stay longer to see your interaction, but the dratted kid was cold and had to go to the bathroom....UGH. KIDS. They just drag you down. It was a wonderful night. Lucy
Haha LUCY! It's me SARAH....aka Sun6chic! everyone else pretty much said everything that happened. It was awesome to meet some MFC people and talk a little with them. The whole night was magical. During Lollipop me and lucy put on these cartoon animal masks (for little kid parties ahah) and we just went wild and danced a lot haha. Martin saw us, and he kept looking back at us and smiling. I think he was surprised cuz we knew that they dress up for lollipop and we "dressed up" in our own way to get into the song. haha. I have tons of pictures which i'll put up later this weekend after i go to NYC for the Terminal 5 show. I had such a great time last night. I am about to write my report. lol
identity mad
APPARENTLY HE DOES. HE RECOGNIZED AT LEAST TWO FANS WAITING AT THE STAGE DOOR. Yeah, when I went to shake his hand he said that he remembers seeing me "stage right" anyways... here are some of my pictures

SisterMadly
Thank you so much for these pics! They're great! I was at the Philly show and I can't stop watching videos and looking for pictures from the concert. It was such an amazing experience. I'm just so happy for him that he was able to see and hear all those people loving him and singing his songs and putting out such positive energy! I'm sure that happens for him at every show, but hey, it was new for me!

minti131
Just joined and this is my first post, but I have been a Mika fan for quite a while. Thursday was my birthday, and I have to say that the Mika concert in Philly was probably the best birthday gift ever. It was my first concert ever and it was simply fantastic. I can't even describe it. It just made me feel so happy. Mika is such an amazing singer/performer!! Ahh, I've become even more obsessed. I really wish I could have stayed afterwards to see Mika, but me and my friends really had to get back home to NJ. It was still fabulous and I seriously cannot wait until my next Mika concert!
