HI guys, I have to keep this very short, we are getting ready to drive home. I really did get to be on stage with Mika! It was great! We watched from backstage and the best part of being back there was when he was shirtless on top of the drum set during love today. He was facing us and he was doing that wiggly dance. Priceless!

 

I was glad I went prepared. I had makeup to do all the lollipop girl's blush and gel liner for freckles that Yasmine wanted. There were 4 LGs altogether. I had also brought hair ties and bobbie pins and a brush. I have blonde wig hairs in my brush now. Everyone seemed nice but they seemed a bit stressed.

 

We got to meet Mika because Mandilambi and kind of pushed the issue. They were in a real hurry to clear the venue. We did see Mika before the show and he said hi but then they were off to have their preperformance powow. After the show, we were put to wait for the ok to meet him and when Nadia went off, he walked into the room so I said hi and that we were waiting for him. I think he was just on his way to put some things away but after he did that, he talked to us and signed things and took some pictures. After about 10 minutes, Nadia came back and said where did you find him? I guess she had set off to look for him to tell him we were waiting.

 

They needed to clear the venue by 10 he had said and they were leaving for Minneapolis right away. I'm glad I wasn't all star struck or I may have not have said hi to hime when he walked by.

 

My kids had a great time and of course knew all the words to all the songs. I told Mika my kids were out in the audience and that it was their first concert. He said, "Kids?" like he didn't believ I had children and asked me how old they were. I also told him I had a puppy named Mika and he thought that was funny. He asked how I spelled it.

 

OK, gotta get packed up.

Another month for me. I can still remember when I joined and was so scared to talk English. So in the beginning I only read everything, which was still possible then.

i'm here for a minute as my house needs me right now!

just to tell you i'm fine and things are getting a little bit better with hubby re. london/mika/mfc....maybe because he's away for 3 days?

i'll be in scotland from aug 24th to sept 3rd!

but

as my hubby likes to plan these travels by himself and make it a surprise (20 years of marriage this year, so!), i do not know how it will be like! :blink:

i only chose scotland when i was asked for an option....the rest is mistery!

Surrey is a bit scary!!!!

 

Delta and Langely are nice:)

 

Tswassan is lovely! oooh West Vancouver is wonderful too if you don't mind monsoons

 

Carri........spent a few weeks in Langley..got rellys there...lovely place to bring up kids.

 

Hello every one, haven't read back completely but good to have a bit of a catch up. I hope Wenid has got the car sorted.

 

Robi, I thought the mika pram was going to be all LICM colours...I was going to order one for my new job!!

i'll fly to edinbourgh, as malpensa is linked to that airport only (no glasgow for low costs from malpensa! :sneaky2: )

first night should be in perth then aberdeen and then fort william...does it make sense? and then to the very north, islands included! brrrrrrrrrrrr

hubby was so secretive on the phone! :naughty:

he will take a brochure home for me to phone to bed and breakfast in these locations...i'll tell you! :thumb_yello:

I hop ethat we are going to get up north this summer..it is one of the reasons we moved to Scotland and we haven't managed it too much yet.

 

About 20 mins from Fort William a friend of mine, Mary, has a bed and breakfast..............beautiful locations..views over the loch. I don't think they have a website but the number is 01855811242 Ballachulish is the nearest village and their place is called The Old Rectory.

Sorry I wandered off there for a bit, came home to have something to eat.

Bit of a turnaround van wise. Spoke to my brother in law this afternoon and it's looking like it'll be a while longer yet. So I'll probably carryon doing work for the one customer for now, but I don't know how long the others will hold out for. One I know will be okay, but the others I'm not sure about. Fingers crossed things will change soon.

I totally understand..this is your family time...but I also understand that you will really want to meet us all as well!:naughty: If I am working it will be difficult for me but if I aren't I can drive to meet you..even if just for a coffee :thumb_yello:
