phunkygal Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 who were the dogs abused by? *regrets asking* noone, in english we were assigned to write a poem about an issue in the world that we care about, so i wrote about abused animals cuz im obsesed with animals! here: An Abused Companion you approach with raised fists and an angry tone, he nervously retreats with hist back against a wall, like a scared child he whimpers and cries, where once there was joy there is now fear in his eyes, a swift kick, he goes sideways, staggers, and falls, with no sign of pity you turn and leave the thing alone, the dog's fur is a tangled mess of fleas, potruding bones and shallow breath, you can count his ribs he hasn't eaten in days, under fed, under loved, neglected in so many ways, unless he is rescued he faces certain death, you have once again fooled a helpless creature into a horrible tease, though your faithful companion still greets you with a smile, and is always willing to cater to you, he so quickly forgets your treatment toward him, though the chance of affection back from you are quite slim, the least you could do was feed him once and awhile! what if your own dog enjoyed making you moan? he never embraced you or gave you a bone?
