If it were summerholidays, 6 week ones, then I would be glad it was over. But not now. Tonight the kids have a spooktocht gosthwalk(?) in the dark and I am helping out. I hope I don't scare them so much they will get nightmares... Tomorrow morning Merel has to get up very early, and so do we then obviously.....hihihi for a sportsmatch. Parents-in-law are coming over, very nice people so no worries. What are you going to cook for your friends?

About 14 years ago her family came to Holland and cooked us a fantastic Chinese meal. Not the things we are used to in restaurant but real authentic things. And they thaught us to eat with chopsticks, which I still do when we eat Chinese.

My brother in law showed his chinese girlfriend a menu from a chinese restaurant, she didn't recognize a single dish. Real chines food is yummie though! leonita
hello, Christina! how're you? I've been trying to catch up on all the ...drama from last night's events. It sounds like it was a great show, regardless! did I read correctly that Shari didn't go? that's awful! Leona
Candboys
Hi Char, Hi Leona! Char, are you feeling better? I take it you are since you are going this weekend. Leona, I just came in from shoveling MORE snow. This is getting ridiculous and too repetitive! I like the snow but I don't enjoy the shoveling. I left the end of the driveway for later. How are YOU? Yes, Shari was too sick to go. There certainly has been a lot of drama lately. I tried to restrain myself but I responded. I hope I didn't stick my foot in my mouth. I do that sometimes. charlottechristy
Hey, I don't feel too much better but I'm going for a memorial service. I kinda feel obligated to go. I would much rather stay home...but, it dawned on me earlier today that it may be my condo building making me sick. They are redoing all the walls, stucco, etc. There is so much dust and smells around there, that I think the times that I stayed home sick probably made it worse. I'm such an idiot. And, today they are painting. Probably good that I'm going away. Hi Char, Hi Leona! Char, are you feeling better? I take it you are since you are going this weekend. Hello Charlotte- hope you're feeling better soon. Christina, I'm sick of snow too, & I don't have to shovel, so I bet you've really had enough! Just got back from dentist, thought it would be $60, ends up $316!!, he filled a small cavity, gave me fluoride, etc. I have to go see a gum specialist about 2 teeth in front, sounds like fun. Yeah, all this angst the past week on MFC...sad. Unavoidable? I don't know. It looks like whatever is said, 5 people disagree! I just hope Mika and/or his "people" don't read every word of it & decide to just chuck us all...it's embarassing. But, if I met him face to face, especially after being all hyped up from the show (and was their drinking involved too?), seeing as he's so irresistable, perhaps it would be hard to pull yourself away after just a moment. hmmm, have to test this theory! Candboys
CharlotteChristy, I have to ask, what do you prefer to be called? I am not sure what to address you as. That is an interesting theory about your home making you sick! Maybe you can find out when you go away this weekend. If you feel better when you are gone and then feel sick again when you get home, you will know for sure. Paint fumes are no fun.

Ouch on the dental bills! Medical bills scare me. Yes, that is why I really try not to post anything controversial but it happens. I personally hate bickering. I have enough of that in my house! leonita
I hear you on that. It's interesting, how many different levels/types of FANS there are, some people get extremely involved not only in Mika but the MFC, at times to an alarming degree! MFC is the first thing of this type I've ever joined- is this usual?
