A cabaret is a song cycle, and there are like 12 of us in the cast and we all go onstage one by one and sing a solo. Each song tells a little story about each of our lives. Mine's a funny one about falling love with a gay guy and then finding out that I'm gay But afterwards, a guy came up to me - I have no idea who he was - and told me that I have a beautiful, gorgeous voice. And that I should make a career out of it. And I didn't know what to say, I was so grateful and everything... I want to cry I'm so happy! Because I am a songwriter and a singer and it's basically what I've always wanted to do so to have someone I don't even know basically affirm it... it's the best feeling ever!
