I watched the video - and felt really embarrased at my attempts to give Mika my gift - I was below everyone's eye level, and that is quite difficult to cope with sometimes, especially when everyone else seems to be having a great time somewhere above me. I am not sure how it would have panned out had it just been Kath and I there - we will never know. I had my picture taken , that is very special to me - and so are the friendships I have made here. If I feel bad about anything that night, its that Kath could not get her photo taken, as my carer. In the video all the others who were with their partners, friends, as carers got their pic taken. I think there were just too many of us there - and Mika had used up his meet and greet time - so he left. NONE of us would have tried to get him to stay - we have too much respect for him. And it is a mark of your fantastic personality that you think of others and not yourself! As I have told you.........IT WAS NOT MY TIME.....it was YOUR time and the fact that I was there at all is a huge bonus to me...I would not have had the opportunity to have been so close to Mika if I had not been with you. But as you say..it is the whole eye level thing that is upsetting. But yes, what is done is done. OK have been sitting here in a wet swimming costume for an hour (no comments about strange fettishes please!) so MUST go. Hope to see you later OOOh TMI Kath - actually the eye level bit is v true - works the same with the kids when we went to "that do" on thursday - evie and Hazel were standing patiently by the M to try to get his authograph, but as he is sooo tall and they are shorter than the adults they were completely out of radar range!
