sienna
I'd like to see that, it's so Mary Poppins But then he would have to do it right in order to attain the proper effect - with dirt in his face and everything. And especially after the legendary mud video we all know how much he loves that I just love your way to form associations! Hello Sara! Addiction is a serious thing, you can’t just quit! I like the blogs too, (apple thread or not) and especially since we have been nagging on him to use the internet to interact with his fans! Well that’s what he’s doing now, in his own little special way!
SuperTwat
This sums up the Dead Sea mud blog so you don't have to bother watching it: Hello, Apples. Congratulations to Sariflor, I'm sorry to hear about your rib Jemma, and belated happy birthday to anyone who celebrated one. I haven't been on much for the last few weeks because I've been busy with uni and for the last week I've had an awful cold (hoarseness, persistent cough, runny nose, headache, muscle pains, the lot) so I haven't been in the mood to do much at all. Kelz told me to drop by, though, so here I am. I'll try to visit more often, but if not there's always Facebook and MySpace (the new one I made). Ciao for now. SuperTwat
I've been missing you as well Twatty! I've been missing everyone here too. I've been deficient in sarcasm of late. But being sick has given me plenty of reason to whine.

Yeah whining is good. I said earlier, I like Mika best when he whines.
Suzy
I'm not posting as much these days, but I do try to read the Apples thread a few times times a day. Glad to see Yop, Sara, Twatty and Jack come around and say "hi" too.

There's more substance in a good sissy whine that a (non-existent) arse shake anyway. I'm not posting as much these days, but I do try to read the Apples thread a few times times a day. Good to see you're back too after your hiatus. How's everything in your camp? All good with me and my busy camp, thanks for asking. Hope you're well too. Going to be seeing Duffy tonight (got the tickets for Christine's birthday...I know, I know, her birthday was half a month ago, but really can't schedule artists to come exactly when and where you want them. You, of all people would know that.)

I'm not a big fan of Duffy but a gig's always good night out (rib-crushing excepted ). I'm not that big of a fan either, I do like a couple of her songs, but Christine came out to see the Ting Tings with me (even though she wasn't as big fan of them as I). I have tried to get into her music and downloaded her entire album onto my iPod. Sometimes, familiarity leads to liking it. I seem to appreciate the music more when it's live, and it's an excuse to see Christine again.

Mika was one of those, he really annoyed me at first (I wasn't a camp pop person then) but when I got past that I found that I really like his music. Suzy
I actually woke up in the middle of the night, because I couldn't sleep. So I'm gonna try to catch some more ZZZs before someone wakes up and needs mommy. I bought a new book called "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch and so if I still can't sleep, I'll at least try to get some inspiration (from all the hype I hear about it). Have a good night Twatty...hope to catch you around here again soon.

Christine
I seem to appreciate the music more when it's live, and it's an excuse to see Christine again. I think we'd probably appreciate it a lot more in those Adele style cushy seats with free hors d'oeuvres. Not sure if Duffy's music lends itself to queuing and squashing and standing in a club. Guess we'll see. Mika was one of those, he really annoyed me at first (I wasn't a camp pop person then) but when I got past that I found that I really like his music. Mika didn't annoy me. Grace Kelly became one of my all-time favourite songs instantly. But if I'd never seen him live I would have never listened to the rest of the album. I think his music would have had a limited appeal in and of itself but he has sold himself on personality and his performances.

babspanky
You coming to London, Yop? I am reading a little book about what it was like to live in England at the turn of the first millennium. There is a section in it about how they used to like riddles, so here is one of them. I am a strange creature, for I satisfy women........ I grow very tall, erect in a bed, I'm hairy underneath. From time to time A beautiful girl, the brave daughter Of some fellow dares to hold me Grips my reddish skin, robs me of my head And puts me in the pantry. At once that girl With plaited hair who has confined me Remembers our meeting. Her eye moistens. The naughty pre mediaeval monkeys! The answer is ............... an onion. Christine
I loathe onions so I never would have taken them for a satisfier of women. Do I have to go to London to see Katy Perry now? How silly. I wish she'd never booked into that festival thing and had done a proper tour of North America this summer.

Christine
And KP is sold out in London! I'll bet. I heard her on Virgin Radio the other day so she's taking off there too I presume.

Why'd you give us the answer? I wanted to show off that I solved it. Then I scrolled down and you had the answer waiting there... I like riddles. And that one was cute, thanks! Give us another one - but don't give us the answer.

Suzy, I looked up The Last Lecture through your link and saw the YouTube video of his "last lecture" that was the inspiration for the book. I haven't watched the whole thing (almost 2 hrs) but it looks great... I'd be interested to hear about the book when you've finished reading it. Have a great time at Duffy! So I guess I'll be the one who gets to brag about seeing her in a 100-people venue where half the people there hadn't really heard of her? Too bad I've kinda gone off Katy Perry... I am excited about the New Pornographers next weekend though. --Jack
phunkygal
A little off topic, but Jack, I promised you a pic of that shirt I made and I just realise that I never posted it. so here: http://s186.photobucket.com/albums/x73/phunkygal/?action=view¤t=pixfordiana002.jpg http://s186.photobucket.com/albums/x73/phunkygal/?action=view¤t=pixfordiana001.jpg it looks better on me and it took 5 hours despite the way it turned out.
