Robi - enjoy your ironing Leona - that sounds lovely - not much sign of spring here just ow, apart from the daffodils!! Lovely seeing bright yellow against the white of the snow!! Martine - hope you had a good night and that your head feels better!! Did anyone know, when you are typing a reply - if you forget (Oldlings!!) what folk have said, just scroll down the page that you are on (the one you are typing the reply on) and it shows you the 12 previous posts!! WENDI! Thank goodness I thought I'dbe talking to myself. Phew! My niece called me this morning, they had 3 inches of snow in Basingstoke. The kids are loving it. The kids are loving it. Lucky Kath, getting woken by Mika this morning.HAHAHAHA! We dont have quite that much here - but its really pretty. I was woken with my gammy hip again - several times - and can hardly walk this morning - but at least I can type sitting or standing so dont need to worry!!! I did try last night walking around their flat trying to pick up unsecured internet networks but to no avail. Right I am back off to their place now. Doesn't matter what I'm driving, it always happens. This is why, even though it would be a fantastic opportunity, I would be dubious about taking an offer to drive Mika anywhere. The road between here and the Garry bridge was originally built for horse and cart - so its not very wide, and has stone walls at the side of it in places. The big wood lorries and buses/coaches are bad enough - but some folk drive it as if its one way - in the middle of the road - and it really winds me up. I have seen lots of accidents on the road, and I have narrowly avoided countless myself. It is worse in the summer, so I dread tourist season every year!!
