*bangs head against wall* How on earth did I miss this thread??

This is such a great idea!! I can totally see him, and he would have such a blast doing it too!

He'd probably boss them all around and "direct" all the animals, so we'd end up with the strangest Sesame Street ever, muahahahaaaaaaaaa:roftl: .

It would be fantastic:thumb_yello: .

NANANA NANANANANA- NANANA -

(that's how the song went, or at least how it seems to be remembered by my brain:naughty:)

Ha, I only created this thread today.

Mika is one of few people who can fit right in with Sesame Street and the Royal Albert Hall. :naughty:

Brilliant:thumb_yello:

I think he would love it on Sesame Street, it's def his kind of "thing"

I bet when he was little he had a cuddley Kermit! I used to love it, didn't like Big Bird much, loved Bert and Ernie and Cookie Monster!

James Blunt:

Natalie Portman:

Funnily enough, I became a fan of James Blunt because of Sesame Street. I was searching on YouTube to see if anyone had posted The Spin Doctors on there doing a version of their song Princes. No-one had, but I found the one with R.E.M. doing Furry Happy Monsters (which I did already know about), I found the one with Goo Goo Dolls doing Pride (instead of Slide) and then I found James Blunt doing My Triangle. I didn't really know who he was (this was back when my head was in a very dark place regarding music and also explains why it took me so long to discover Mika!) but I loved it and I searched him out because of it.

I also saw the Norah Jones one and there's a Melissa Etheridge one floating around youtube.

I think Mika would be brilliant. But does anybody here have any good ideas for changing the lyrics of any of his songs to make them appropriate for S.S. in terms of being educational/entertaining/informative for kids?

Ok, I've just thought of one. Haven't worked out any lyrics yet but....

"Big Bird, You Are Beautiful"

Anyone else wanna have a go at lyrics?

hahaha eerrrrmmm.....

Walks into the room

It’s full of big balloons I said,

Big Bird you are beautiful'

Elmo and Ernie please

Elmo I'm on my knees screamin,

Big Bird you are beautiful'

:naughty: hahaha

I heard Feist was a guest on Sesame Street recently and thought how great it would be if Mika was on there too!

Forget Oprah - Sesame Street is da bomb! There's an amazing list of celebrities who've been on the show too, so why not Mika:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_celebrity_guest_stars_on_Sesame_Street

It's filmed in New York, and he's no stranger to that city. The Muppets aren't too far off from the animal costumes during the Lollipop performance. And it would be really easy to imagine the lyrics "I can be brown, I can be blue, I can be violet sky..." sung with Elmo and the rest of the Muppets. Besides, we all know how many moms are drawn to him too!

:wink2:

that is very incorrect :roftl:

That'd be fantastic! I don't really know the original Sesame Street, but from what I've seen it's a bit like the Muppet show? I picture so well Mika and the puppets together :roftl:

From Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sesame_Street

"As a result of its positive influence, Sesame Street is one of the most highly regarded educational shows for children in the world.[2] No other television series has matched its level of international recognition and success. The original series has been televised in 120 countries,[3] and more than 30 international versions have been produced, not including dubbed versions. The series has received 109 Emmy Awards, more than any other television series.[3] An estimated 77 million Americans have watched the series as children;[4] millions more have watched around the world, as have their parents."

:thumb_yello:

This certainly goes with his theme of world domination.

There's also a french version on TV ! But it's awful, there aren't guests stars, it looks like the Telletubies :naughty:

I love Sesame Street! I can't watch it, cause I'm a bit too old now, but my favourites are still Elmo and Ernie. I bought a top with Elmo on yesterday. I'd love it if he was on there :biggrin2:
