After finally getting the microwave back onto it's stand my dad has just exclaimed "move this a bit to the left and Bob's your uncle & Fanny's your aunt!" and is claiming this to be a saying. The Fanny bit. Has he made it up? I think he's made it up. My dad makes sayings up all the time.

 

Nope... it's an actual saying... I've heard it a few times before...

 

But that might be because I live in the country...

 

He's ballsy grabbing the camera like that. Lame pun intended. :wink2:

Actually, that's probably cos is was a very long time ago. Gee that makes me feel old. You know what else makes me feel old? I started going grey at 19. So I'm kind of used to that. But today I found my first grey eyebrow hair. That made me feel really old for some reason. *sigh*

Ah I forgot that's coming or came out... too bad NONE of the theatres around here will ever have it. A lot of times we don't even get movies that have been released. :thumbdown:

 

I'm pretty much jealous if you guys have or will see it. I saw the previews for it and thought it was cool, like a free concert in your home. : P

I find it funny that when people are fans of bands they usually plaster their wall with pictures and well I have a total of one picture of Mika and one picture of Bono that I randomly found in a magazine up on my wall.

 

I'm definitely going to decorate more next school year because *gasp* I've found three housemates and I just signed the lease for the house yesterday! :woot_jump: I never decorate much in these dorms because you can only use blue painters tape.... go get some and try to hang up posters with that... yeah not as easy as it looks.

 

 

Anywho... I just woke up from a not so pleasant dream so I suppose I should find breakfast/lunch. I also have some award thing to go to tonight. :blink:

Yeah I'm glad I'm done everything so far while others are still searching for people to live with and a place that's perfect for them. I think we got one of the best houses. :naughty: But shhh.

 

The dream was just sucky. Nobody knew or cared about my birthday. I'm just not thrilled to be playing a concert because I'd much rather be well in my room doing whatever I please instead of doing something for this lousy school.

 

Yeah the school started something weird where if a resident assistant caught you doing something good they'd write a short letter about it and then you'd get a message sent to you signed by the residential life staff saying that we were caught doing good and would state what it was and then you'd get community cash that can be used during our casino night or our spring day to wins stuff. I got one freshman year but then I got two this year. I knew about the second one that I got this year but was told that I was supposed to get one back at the beginning of school year someone was just lazy and never sent it.... so now I guess they hold some award night about it. I have no clue but someone that knows about it or I think is involved with it almost made it sound like there's something planned for me. :blink:

Like I told my mom... I'll take all the good recognition I can get before I tell the school all of the reasons why I'm leaving when they ask me during my exit interview.

Yeah I have some pictures. I finally got a few more the other day but it's not like there's a lot to them because most were taken before they furnished the home. It just looks like a cute little house and the kitchen is so adorable haha.

 

Yeah, I have to do a concert for guitar one on my birthday. *dislikes school even more*

 

Yeah, I guess we have to do an interview to tell them why we're leaving but it's also so that if we're not transferring to another school they can start billing me and I'll have to start paying back my loans in October.

I like how Mika is just hogging it. The others have decent votes but then you scroll down and BAM Mika just has an insane number. :naughty:

Ooh, I didn't realize the two polls were the same. That's silly, they should have just done it all in one poll. Why have two parts? :naughty: Oh well 47% isn't terribly far behind 59%... it's a lot better than being stuck at 1%! :naughty:
