I'm not here either... I'm watching London being flooded with my mum.... lol

Two minds think alike Ruth... :)

How dreadful was it? I couldn't care less if all of them died. And it was wrong on so many levels. A good disaster is meant to grip you!

Hi Ruth - I watched it in bits - and found it a bit ironic that we were

watching a pretend disaster movie, when the real thing was happening

in Burma!! :boxed:

Hi Miek! Just trying to keep up with the exercises the physio prescribed and icing my knees (no weealx, not cake icing :sneaky2:) and generally trying to do what needs doing without overdoing it ...:thumb_yello:

Did you see the River Dance dancers? They were on telly (last night?) and they stand in buckets of ice backstage

, I've gone all soppy, I thnk it's the fantastic weather we're having.LOL!

Soppy Rose? How sweet!

Now that we've got the real eek smiley back:roftl:

Glad you've got eek back. I was on a site yesterday that had two belters. One was clapping, the other was praying. They were brilliant.

I'm ashamed to say I didn't know about Burma till this morning. For the committed Radio 4 news junkie that I used to be, it's unthinkable, but I'd rather listen to my mp3 player.

Did anyone look to see how a certain area of London would be fixed in the event of a flood?

got a list of a million things to do, but I'm tired! Would rather hang out here instead. what's new?

what do you mean by a certain area of London?

Hey there, Leona! Congrats on the A! I will keep you in my thoughts Tuesday. Are the million things you have to do preparation for the surgery?

I think we have finally turned the corner and having spring now. Yay!

I would also like to know what's new around here.

Hi Wendy, yes, soccer started yesterday, Mika is in doggy classes and swimming starts back up again next week. Today was really beautiful out. I went for a walk and really need to start excercizing again. How are you doing? Everything good?

Nice to see you.

Sorry I went off there for a bit, busy writing some more of the script. It's really coming along now, could end up being an epic, heh heh!

Hi Ruth. I guess it really has been quiet in here. This may have been the longest the oldlings have stayed in one part.

Hi Christina! & Wendi,

yes, I told the Dr. I want to get this done ASAP, why wait?

I won't be able to lift ANYTHING at all for at least a month, and

there is an embarassing amount of housework I've been putting off,

I want to get as much as I can straightened/vacuumed and put within easy reach!

Tuesday? That's not long to wait.

Only being daft about London - making sure that Mika wouldn't have been drowned in the stupid drama that was on at the weekend :)

Apart from an Oldlings hip and back, I am brand new!!! :roftl:

There is no real news here - when Mika is not doing anything

that we can follow the time on here kinda drags by!!

It was a beautiful day here too - and its set to last all week!!

duh!

I should think that he'd be at the top of the priority list, right after the Royal Family, for rescuing!

or, perhaps MFC could round up some volunteers in a rowboat to go save him!

Darn it, I typed a reply and lost it.

Anyway, Leona, good luck with your prepping before your surgery. Getting everything ready should make the recovery go smoother.

Hi Rose, what script are you writing?

Does anyone know how Mamacatt's surgery went?
