Maybe there are new toys he wants I wonder how come nobody here knew about it or went to it Because maybe ppl there didn't know who would be doing the show. It was private, Pip. The people attending the party have not paid money or travelled because they're desperate to see Mika, so my assumption would be that there he got a sample representing the average population ('average' regarding their liking for Mika in particular)... yet I have to admit that in this state of his career it might be a bit of an ungrateful job already. *watching video* Was it really so bad? I mean people were singing along and cheering, and if a few or even half of them didn't like it, so what? Isn't it exactly the Marmite thing? It's not like those people were locked up in a room with Mika, still they were there (LOL it's the way it is when things are for free), having the pleasure to see Mika live, secretly enjoy it and tell their friends afterwards it was nothing special And maybe it was worth for those he could win over? BTW did he play his whole set? When Robbie had his special appearance at that X-Mas party a few years ago he couldn't be arsed to perform any more than two songs before disappearing like a flash of lightning through the back exit On another note: Wasn't that dresscode hilarious?
