She's actually from there and is thinking about moving back for good but her kids have been here so long that she's thinking about letting them finish school here and then take them back. Whenever they spend the summer there, the kids have to relearn their English. LOL  I've been promising her I would go. Wish I could do this in July! For no obvious reason of course.  I will try to find the English ones at least and post them...  If you are thinking of going to Lebanon.. you have to add extra days to sight see... there are so many things to see.. but the best place to stay in is in Beirut's downtown... it's small country, so you can move from one end to the other in 3 hours max..  I used this travel agent when I am in Lebanon  http://www.lebweb.com/site/lebanon-nakhal-lb-22358  affordable hotels list can be found here... but I have never booked through them online.. a good hotel (location wise) with decent prices and good service is Mayflower in Hamra district (10 minutes away from the gig area)  http://www.hoojoozat.com/default.aspx  you have to go to the beach there.. but part of a resort (free beaches are not very organized).. oceana is nice.. which is a little south of beirut (about 20 minutes away)  must see byblos http://www.middleeast.com/byblos.htm  Baalbeck - which is a little far away, have to drive through the mountains to reach it (2 hours drive minimum) http://www.middleeast.com/baalbeck.htm  Tyre - in the south (about 50 minutes away from beirut) http://tyros.leb.net/tyre/  We have great shopping centers - the best is ABC Ashrafiyeh  as for night life, restaurants and pubs.. there are endless choices, most of which are in Beirut downtown, Jimeyzeh and Monot (all next to where the concert will be)  unfortunately, during summer there will be no snow left in ski resort.. seasons starts end of December and ends in April..  you have to check Beirut Museum http://www.beirutnationalmuseum.com/  and if you get a chance.. walk around Hamra street (where the hotel I recommended is located) and go down to the American University of Beirut .. lovely campus and great youth mood  if you have any questions PM me.. anytime..
