I used to be incredibly insular. Stuck in the Aussies and sometimes came to the Oldlings - which was ridiculous when there's so much more going on all over the forum. Now I have far too many subscribed threads and whilst I have a couple of "home" threads, I like to get out and explore and meet others on the forum more. Though why anyone would leave the Mikaverse - even when he looks mad he's still gorgeous (thanks Robi) Weeelll, gorgeous is as gorgeous does, as the (bastardised) saying goes. The fact that someone is good looking should not excuse bad behaviour (not saying he has behaved badly but...) and for some people maybe this perceived breach of manners and good behaviour is too much to excuse with a pretty face. Not speaking for myself of course, just speculating... I have loads of stuff on my MP3 player - sometimes I listen to a non-Mika song for at least half a track SNAP! I am exactly the same. The other day i let my iriver play on random for a few hours... I was pleasantly surprised to be reminded of other things I had on there, but it was only tolerable because every couple of songs a Mika song seemed to pop up! Had a meeting with someone this morning...she asked me where I was going on holiday...so I told her I was running around Europe after Mika (had never met this woman before in my life and I was supposed to be being professional.....but I have no shame!) She denied all knowledge so I showed her a pic...................she said he was hot............a friend for life I reckon! Well done you - I have a photo (the small one you sent me) in my purse, and I flash it as much as possible in shops etc!! Going on about some new thing he was doing that he needed a team for... as they are both marvel characters was that a prelude to Ironman already lol Just surprised me is all.... The pictures worked very well I had a good nights sleep, and woke naturally at 6.30am The girls arrive at 18.00 your time! I only have enough room for one film at a time.. that's why I then delete them and watch the next one.. also I'm completely useless at doing my own DVD's ... can do CD's but not DVD's... so is pointless me keeping them anyway... Hope you're feeling better, Wendy! Robi, get back to work! Laurel, sounds like a birthday is on the horizon? Ruth, Rose -- I'm not ready to bash Mika either. What makes me laugh is these girls who say they don't idolize Mika. If they don't, then why are they so upset to think that maybe he behaved in a less than professional, courteous way? I'm realistic to know that at 24 you're bound to do stupid, rude, obnoxious, etc. things for any number of reasons... so I'm not that bothered by it. And of course the other reason I'm not bothered is that I really don't know what happened, do I? As much as I love Luke, I'm not ready to turn on Mika over an alleged lapse of judgement. Anyhow, that's all I'm saying about THAT. My son had an MRI yesterday, following by physical therapy in the afternoon -- poor thing. It seems that lately all we do is run to and fro doctors for him! I don't know anything so It seems abit pointless to me... maybe he ruffled Mika's hair or something... That seems as good a reason as most.... I did see him at Hammersmith and he seemed a lovely guy... Being my first gig though I didn't speak to him or anything... I have listened to his music on myspace though and really love it... Least I loved it enough to ask him to add me... he pretty much added me straight away which was nice of him.... I hope she feels better in time for the competitions! Alex's shoulder is better -- he has full range of motion finally, but not much strength. So that's what they're working on now. I hope the MRI confirms that he's on the road to recovery -- I really don't want him to have surgery if he can avoid it Yep ... It's my birthday tomorrow It's my sister's tomorrow as well!
