Maybey been said before and sorry if it has ..but wouldn't it be cheaper rather than going to a proper tshirt shop and get them printed ...just get some iron on transfer paper from computer store or good art and craft shops.

I haven't time to read all this thread but think the design is fab...especially in PINK! lol!

Dunno if can afford to go tho if going to Paris....then again there is always Mr Visa who is happy to pay for me! :wink2:

xxx

ps. does anyone know if MIKA ACTUALLY wants to do this gig?...afterall he is a busy guy these days

I was thinking along those lines, that's what I'm doing with the new costume t shirts.

I wish I was able to help, but I'm not going to any of the gigs. I'm okay with donating money for the tshirts for the band, but is there someone who wants to coordinate that?

JoseOle has offered to try and convert the image into an Illustrator-file, I don't know if it's possible technically, but I'm sure she can tell us.

I think july 19th is a good idea. It does give us more time.

I'm leaving (holidays) in two weeks, but I'll send my tshirt-pic to you if you are the one to give the album. :thumb_yello:

I'm gonna give it a try now. I don't know if it will succeed, but we will see...

I'll keep you posted!

Helloooo.. me again :naughty:.

You may have seen previous mentions by me of the fact that I thought that it would be great if Mika played at the Royal Albert Hall, and it seems that a good number of people agree that they would love to see that.

Sooo we have decided (well, a few of us anyway) that it would be a good idea to print out some Tshirts with a "request" so that we can wear it to the July Mika gigs, as some sort of petition to the man himself.

This way, if anyone wants to join the petition", all they need to do is print the logo out on their own Tshirt, and there they go :thumb_yello:.

Wendi had a great idea for a logo, and Robi added a bit as well, and I added another little bit, so I have passed the idea to our resident design genius Violet_Sky, who is busy at work creating the super-masterpiece.

I guess that we just need to wait for her to post it now............

...............excitement..................drum roll..............................:naughty::naughty:

No pressure VS :fisch:

UPDATE:

-We have a design, which Violet_sky has made and people can get printed in a variety of colours, according to preferences.

They can also make a slight change to the design, adapting it. The link to the image will be uploaded soon.

-So far we have the following people taking part (I think that you are, but if I put your name here and you are not, please let me know and I will remove you!):

sariflor

rak1

robertina

wendi

kath

jemmalee

sarahlou1973

sienna

Queenie

babspanky?

violet_sky?

Blue Sky?

am I missing anyone?

Yes you are!! Where's me name???

I think the point is anyone can make the T shirt they like with the design, iron on, transfer whatever for themselves, but for Mika and band wouldn't it be better to have them done properly? That way they might actually wear them. Once or twice.

And it isn't all that hard if we have the appropriate illustrator file in the right size, cafepress.com you just upload the image and pay for the shirt and postage. But the image has to be transparent around the outside as I mentioned before.

So when we get the t shirt printed then, do we take a photo of us wearing it and send it to Sara for the book? Is that right?

More BS from BS, sorry.

Well file is downloaded by if I don't have AI on my PC what can I do??? It won't let me open the files.

Well I don't know which programs you have? (Like Photoshop or something?) But when you go to a printshop (online or for rizzle) it's most likely they ask for an AI (illustrator) or a PDS (photoshop) file!

No Freds what I mean is WE want him to play in the UK but shows take months and months of prep and by then he prob will have his Cd ready (fingers xd) and have already planned the next tour (venues already booked etc) as I would imagine would be at least 6 months in advance....so maybey we are wasting our time??? is what I meant....Don't get me wrong I am all for the idea getting Meeks to play to play his home town! :wub2::punk:

sariflor, when you turn up....pls. have some issues sorted so that we can go on.

pls remember that i am available for

-collecting the pics and make the album and give it to someone who can take it to you in paris

- order/pay for ONE band tshirt on line and have it sent to you.

all this if you decide you are going to give tshirts and book in amsterdam.

rose...i think the pics were supposed to be of the ppl who cannot go at any july gig.

we can and we will wear them...so we are a living pic! :naughty:

but pls decide yourself and i'll read your decisions tomorrow.

thanks to everyone for making this possible!:thumb_yello:

I know someone who can embroid shirts, but maybe that's too proper! :naughty:

I'm making the .png's vercortbased in Illustrator atm. But it costs more time than I expected! (Computer is sloooooow! )

Here are the designs in vector, as Illustrator files!

I am not really sure what the Royal Labert Hall is...(explanation pweez?) but I am tempted for a t-shirt :das:

The design is really beautiful isn't it?

The Royal Albert Hall is a venue in London. Sariflor started a thread about her wish that Mika would do an acoustic gig there, and a lot of us got very excited by that idea.

This is the original thread

I didnt get to see it cuz i dont have adobe, i just want to buy a tshirt to show off. like, "hey, im cool cuz i have a shirt with a venue in london on it and i live in the US. (and i didnt even go to london)"

You can use Adobe Reader to see it. The idea is to make the tshirt yourself or have it printed for you at some shop. So just go ahead and show off :wink2:
