Wendi
what does that mean "an adverse reaction with your epilepsy medication"?they will not work? that's not good! my father had 2 epileptic seizures in the last 5 years. he is 82. they call it nocturnal epilepsy, as it only happens when he is asleep. he was so upset as he never had to take pills before, not even for highblood pressure. but the doctor made him understand that if he doesn't take his medication... he would remove his driver's license. that made him not argue and take the pills lol I lost my licence for 16 months - have to have a clear 12 months before applying for licence again!! My epilepsy medication stops me taking a lot of things!! I have calcium channel blockers instead of beta-blockers for my heart problem, and they has to be checked against all the other tablets I have for various things!! chickadee
No slow release - but if I take the diazepam four times a day, withthe last dose at bedtime, then that should relax the muscles enough to let me sleep through!! It will take a few days to start working, so I will just wait!! He said the slow release tablets would have an adverse reaction with my epilepsy medication!! That's not so good! It really does become a big muddle of "which drugs will do the job but not counteract or adversely affect all the other meds."

guylainem123
my son's girlfriend just sent me this email.... i thought i'd share with with you oldlings. you may have seen it before, but it's worth a 2nd reading CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished.' So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kalhua, a package of Oreo's, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now !! Please pass this on to those whom you think might be in need of inner peace....
