Lolliepop_girl
Well this was a poem I wrote for lit class, that was inspired by Mika's situation and my situation... My view Is the bottle half filled or half empty you ask, This is supposed to be an easy task. I do not see myself as either optimist or pessimist, I see myself as a realist. Do you have to be size zero? Or do you have to be a hero? In life what matters most – Is it your personality or is it your looks? Why don’t you like me for me? Do I have to be like a celebrity? Do I have to be superficial and fake Or do drugs and be promiscuous just to get a date? Why do people judge a book by its cover? Do they think it’s right or proper? There is nothing that angers me more Than people who speak and whisper about the poor. Bullies, why do you enjoy bringing people to their knees? Why do you poke fun and tease? Don’t you know it is you who are weak? Not those whose sadness you seek! This is to modern life, Where everything has a price. You are not encouraged to be yourself instead they pack you on a shelf. This is to modern life, For if you are not beautiful, you go under the knife. But is this what we really want? A world where everyone is the same or not? Wow, that's beautiful Kavi, very truthful and inspirational Kudos

Christine
Oh Bab, thank you for this thread so hilarious I had to stop after the first 4 lines when I was at work lest I alert the whole office that I'm not doing my job. Kata you are exceptionally brilliant as always. The wizard boy we've mocked him so Before each gig, after every show No topic sacred from our biting wit From infant nutrition to his latest hit The cancellations, his chafed up thighs The Billy Brown stories, his crazy lies Appearing in soup and sacking his L We take every chance to give the boy hell The apples we go where others shan't dare We're risking a banning yet we don't care For taking the piss is simply our way Of showing this boy what we're loathe to say That in spite of it all when those dimples appear And he's up on the stage where it all becomes clear Why we've blown our dosh and endured queuing hell This kind and fine boy has us under his spell
dcdeb
World changed foreverLaughing eyelashes youtube Mika MFC Stage lights jacket on Troll wizard drums new keyboards Fifty thousand hearts (my haiku attempts) lollipops stickymelt in your mouth dishonest pink sunglasses smile I should have known you would feed my haiku hunger, Blue Sky! OK... now what about limericks? I didn't see any. There was a young singer named Mika Whose sound was rather unique-a Some thought he was great And he moved some to hate But I'd follow him from here to Tanganyika. dcdeb

lollipop_monkey
LMAO! You guys are all brilliant! Christine, Bab, Kata, M4L13, Kavi, Jemmalee - and eveyone else, too - this thread is awesome. :roftl: My contribution: We talk about his body hair and of his lollipop; we talk about infections and when the cancelling might stop. We find ourselves so curious About which gender does he shag And if he was trying to tell us By appearing in Out mag. We wonder if he'll wow us When he performs in Paris, France We wonder if he'll ever wear those Glastonbury striped pants. It has now been four long months since we saw him singing live So much we've done to pass the time And magically, it's flown by! We saw him with a new haircut in an interview from Beijing We saw him win a Novello award Now, that's an awesome thing. We saw him at a party where a photog hit the ground Yes, Mika was a sweetie And helped her come around. And who could forget, on April first I laughed 'till I was crying It seems Mika ran off to India To take up yogic flying. But now he's back to sing once more You must admit, he has a great voice I think, once some new vids surface More than a few of us will rejoice. So fellow MFCers The future's not so bleak The guy that we think is pretty great will be back in less than a week.

Kata
There once was a wizard, a talented boy who had such adorable curls with glitter and magic, with laughter and joy he went out to conquer the world He conquered New York, he conquered L.A. he conqúered Berlin and Bruxelles yes even small Reading he conquered one day but that is a secret - don't tell he conquered the boys, he conquered the girls yes even the penguins you see soon they would arrive from all over the world wherever the wizard would be he conquered a forum on top of the week although he's not posting a thing but now he owns us, a troll and a deek let's see what the future will bring

guylainem123
ok.. i'm not poetic... i'm not even sarcastic but this is the best that i can do, hopefully you'll enjoy it too where is cazgirl when you need her? she could do this so much better! there is a boy who sings like a bird his sound is nothing that i have ever heard and when he is performing on stage i have no choice but to forget my age! for some reason i felt the need to find out about this artist indeed so a google whore i became and i only have mika to blame i even joined the mfc and made some friends from sea to sea we talk about mika and all things things that are frugal and yet we are still waiting for him to say we are official i find mika very clever and a brilliant songwriter he takes reality and coats it with sugar and makes us oldlings feel alot younger if ever he finds the thread called mikagasmic he might run away and find it horrific but then again he may remain calm as he realises we mean no harm for mika is not perfect we all agree he is human as you can see and i think it's only fair to say he made mistakes along the way but maybe if we give him a chance or two (or 3 or 4, but 2 rimes ) i'm hoping he'll make it right and see it through i wish him well along the way and hope to see him perform again some day i hope this poem didn't put you to sleep and i sure hope you didn't find it too deep this is the first one i write in many years and i'm pretty confident babspanky won't shed tears of course, this ends with a bouquet and the traditional kachinga!
