Sounds lovely. We sometimes go up to the park and have a bbq in one of the rotundas. I'm not close enough to the beach anymore. But I do remember doing that as a kid. High pressure over northern california will shift westward by the end of the week as a series of progressively stronger disturbances drop down the west coast from the north bringing a much colder airmass along with a chance of showers to the region. A strong cold front is expected to move across northern california friday night signaling the beginning of this change in the weather. It will usher a much colder airmass southward into northern california and will be accompanied by scattered showers along with breezy to locally windy conditions. snow levels will lower rapidly into the foothill elevations... However initial precipitation amounts are expected to be generally light. Cold and showery weather is forecast to continue over the weekend and into early next week...
