Wendi
OH WOW !! My sleep has been it's usual **** , *pats our sleep-worthy-ness* .... & OMG ... PUPPIES !!!! I have midwifed a few litters myself over the years ... Good luck ! This will be the third litter I have midwifed!! Lucky had 7 pups, but she rolled on top of one and it suffocated. She did everything herself - cords etc. Then four years ago Rags had her litter - but the first got stuck, and I had to drive her 6 miles with half the pup hanging out. It died . The vet gave her a jag, and she produced Sandy no bother. I took her home then - but an hour later she had still not managed to produce any more, so I had to take her back in, and assist with the C section as the vet had no-one else there!! He delivered two - Buster and Pebbles!! I just hope Pebbles has a straight forward birthing process. I have my sterilized scissors and dental floss for the cords if needed. And lots of disposable cloths for cleaning the pups faces etc Wish me luck!!
Kelzy
Ah yes, you're right! And it has. But not with the same quality and sincerity! Sorry, I just thought I should use a random cat smiley there. Hurrah! *waits patiently* Yeah, the old movies had more quality and sincerity. Now it's all special effects and fake tears. Why a random cat?? lol!! KELZ !!! Lol!! Thanks. My RL has mostly been meetings to do with future projects here where I live ... photography exhibition in Jan. in our studio (thus no GC *ft. no money to travel* ) ... an annual variety night at our local 'beloved' bush hall (on the committee) ... & 1 or 2 special (as yet un-disclosed) acting projects ft. ALOT of hard work & training for yours truly ... sheesh ... Verrrry busy. Are local photos being displayed or a particular persons? *wink wink more info wink wink* Congratulations Kelzy Ohhhhh! I got the look of love!! Thanks. Have some brain cake. Hahaha !! We know our Kelz likes her 'dark' purple font !!! I do indeed. I had about 2 hours sleep last night - so a bit weary!!BUT - Pebbles will probably give birth today, so I need to stay alert and focused Puppehs!!! Looking forward to photoshoot. I'm watching Twin Peaks. I just have to say that I love Special Agent Dale Cooper played by Kyle MacLachlan of Sex and the City fame.. He's so eccentric in this. "This is damn fine coffee" ... My lovely ol' gal Maggie had her first (& only)litter at 9 yrs. old. ... after 4 phantom pregnancies (determined) ... we wouldn't have 'chosen' for her to get pregnant at that age .... but, she just went ahead & did it .... pffft ... this is a pic. of her with her 2 pups ... unfortunately the girl (Alice, in the pink bow) died 6 mths. later from a tic ... .... we still have the boy tho' , his name is Mondo ... sweet-dreams
Yeah, the old movies had more quality and sincerity. Now it's all special effects and fake tears. Why a random cat?? lol!! Well I went looking through the smileys to find one suitable to put at the end of that sentence and I couldn't make a decision so I just chose the cat. Another movie I've just finished watching (I watched most of it last night, but seeing as it goes for about 14 and a half hours I couldn't finish) is The Sound Of Music. Now I have a thing for Captain Von Trapp! Georg (gay-org) is a beautiful name! Doesn't everybody just love this scene? EDIT: Sorry for the huge picture! Yes, they are a big problem here - mainly because we have a lot of sheep here!! My dogs are never in the fields, but the cat is in there all the time, and he brings them in!! The flea/tick collars are full of chemicals, so I just try to check mine often - but as the dogs have longish hair, and are broken coated, it can make it quite difficult to find them! Pebbles has settled down again Guess no pups for another few hours anyway!! Time for a wee kip I think - after I have cleaned out my daughter's hamster cage, and made some soup!! Well, when I was out shopping yesterday I saw it sitting on the shelf and I thought to myself "I feel like watching The Sound Of Music". So I bought it and watched up to the wedding last night and then the rest of it tonight. Goodnight happikali!
sweet-dreams
Sorry to be off-topic, but did anybody watch The Simpsons at 6pm tonight? It was the episode where Lisa becomes a Vegetarian, featuring Paul McCartney at the end. I love that episode! I always laugh when Paul asks Lisa if she wants to hear a song and then Apu starts singing 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. "If you play 'Maybe I'm Amazed' backwards you get a great recipe for Lentil Soup!"

Well, when I was out shopping yesterday I saw it sitting on the shelf and I thought to myself "I feel like watching The Sound Of Music". So I bought it and watched up to the wedding last night and then the rest of it tonight. Yeah I love musicals but didn't really like that one. It wasn't crazy enough to interest me. So I only would've seen it a few times at the max.. Good on you for watching it though. I might attempt it, but I have started a list of movies to hire for next week and I don't know if SOM will fit in with the mood of Velvet Goldmine & Blue Velvet... (it seems that lately I have to watch things I've already seen) Sorry to be off-topic, but did anybody watch The Simpsons at 6pm tonight? I think I have seen that episode!! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=0cSm_9JRNQA You'll hear 2 voices. 1 is Pauls and the other is someone reciting the recipe. Lateerrr!!
