So what looks hard to me, and like a lot of work....actually was!!:naughty:

But thanks for the explanation, I have often wondered...

it's just 10 minutes of work XD placing it in the right spot takes longer, because it has to look perfect :roftl::naughty:

Same here! You are so clever with that stuff, Starrats! I'm hopeless.

Okay here is the tutorial, easy, made in PSP, translatable

1. You start off by opening a new file, mine is 371x180

2. Choose 2 pictures, paste the first one on the canvas on the right like this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut1.jpg

You paste a picture on you canvas, by going to Edit > paste > As a new layer

3. Now, you pick the second picture and paste it on the canvas over the first one like this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut2.jpg

4. Now pick the selection tool, for PSP, it is the rope on your toolbar on the left, don't know about other programs, set your settings like this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut3.jpg

5. You then select the part you want to delete, which obviously is the part that covers the other picture, so we select it like this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut4.jpg

Then we press Delete and you will get this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut5.jpg

You can still see some dark spots. So we open the settings for the selection tool again and set it to 20. Now we select those black spots left and delete them so we will have this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut6.jpg

6. It's looking quite good now, but the coloring is a bit boring, but first, we will merge the layers. We'll do this by going to layers > merge > merge all.

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut7.jpg

7. To make the image a bit darker, but let it keep it's charisma, we'll be adding curves. Go to layers > New Adjustment Layers > Curves and set your settings like this:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut8.jpg

8. To add a little more blueish tones, we'll use a color balance. For that, you go to Layers > Adjustment layers > Color balance and get your settings as mine:

http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut9.jpg

9. To add some extra dimension, we're gonna copy the background layer, go to layers, select backgroundlayer, then edit > copy, go back to layers, select the top layer, then edit and paste as a new layer. It will probably now show the image you started with. Now, go to layers, click on properties and then saturation 100%

You will now get something like: http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh132/ingievv/tut10.jpg

The image is basically done, you can add some extras to it like text etc. but you've got the base so yeah. This is what mine looks like:

I hope it helped!
