sweet
emily is beatiful too. I fell in love to cecilia since I heard their song called cecilia. then I searched and found out that saint cecilia (here in brazil) is patron saint of music. so I had no doubt anymore. tantastic
Ouch. That's kinda mean. Yes, it's an awesome song and a beautiful name. Just don't ever tell your kid that you named her after a song about an unfaithful partner. Even knowing what it's about, that song just makes me happy. I've talked to some people who are named after that song and really, they are more than happy about it I know I would have

A. Clay
BEACON THEATRE SURPRISE APPEARANCE The beautifully restored Beacon Theatre in New York City re-opened after a seven month, $16 million renovation on February 13, 2009 with Paul Simon as the only scheduled artist for the evening. After nearly 90 minutes of a great show, the audience heard the words: "Ladies and gentlemen, my old friend Art Garfunkel." "The fact that you still care is tremendous," Art said, during the standing ovation that followed "The Sound of Silence". The duo then sang (as did the audience) "The Boxer" and closed with a stirring medley of "Old Friends" and "Bookends." In the audience were; Mayor Michael Bloomberg, James Gandolfini, Harvey Weinstein, Paul McCartney, the Jonas Brothers and Jon Bon Jovi. "Preserve your memories, they're all that's left you." - - - - - - - - - - 2/19/2009 SIMON AND GARFUNKEL CONSIDERING TOUR, MANAGER CONFIRMS Last week Simon and Garfunkel reunited for three songs at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Now the pair of singer-songwriters are talking about hitting the road. “Our plan to work together is coming together,” Art Garfunkel told the BBC. “But it doesn’t go through England this time.” Paul Simon’s manager Jeff Kramer confirmed this in a statement to Rolling Stone: “Yes there have been conversations taking place, but nothing has been confirmed.” The duo launched a highly successful reunion in 2003, the Old Friends tour, that was their first outing in 20 years; the trek grossed $123 million. The tour’s set list encompassed all of their 1960s hits in addition to a small handful of Paul Simon solo tracks such as “American Tune” and “Slip Slidin’ Away.” Their childhood heroes the Everly Brothers came out in the middle of each show for a brief set. At the time Simon revealed it was unlikely they’d tour again. “Because we do this every 10 or 12 years, this is probably the last time we’re going to do this,” he said. Garfunkel told the BBC that reaction to the three songs the duo sang together in New York was “extraordinary.” “I said to the audience, ‘You don’t have a right to expect — and we didn’t expect — that the interest in us would last and you would still care right to today and I’m touched’.” http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/02/19/simon-and-garfunkel-considering-tour-manager-confirms/ Edited February 26, 2009 by A. njloverqoj
Hello!I did a little research and I couldn't find any thread of S & G.. So I decided to make one.. Hope we have some fans here Ohh and another thing I wanted to ask. Whenever I tell people that I have a secret crush on Artie they're all like "What, are you crazy?!?!?! O_O" And I'm like "nooo, are YOU crazy?!" Seriously, am I really the only one who thinks that Art in 60s, 70s and even 80s was extremely attractive? My fave songs by them are April Come She Will, Homeward Bound, Cecilia and Sounds of Silence. They're awesome!!!
