silver Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Thanks. and LOL yeah, I sliced my finger pretty bad one day trying to get a rush job done, but I didn't get blood on the artwork so all was good. We had to proofread too, it was pretty crazy cause we did all the menus for the qantas flights and a lot of the time I was reading French and German which I can't speak, I bet they went out riddled with mistakes. I was working for a firm that printed correspondence courses, so was quite often proofreading "A" level French and German. I didn't understand any of it. As I'm still set to screen magnify ... everything is sooooo clear !!! Isn't it amazing? When I first tried on my glasses I felt enlightened. I have a major dilemma. I have to choose a stethoscope colour. And I'm getting a freaking expensive good quality one so I won't have to replace it. Meaning I am going to be stuck with this colour choice for the rest of my life. I don't think I've ever had to make such a difficult decision. And my dad is trying to hurry me because he wants one too and we have to order them together. I would be glad of assistance or opinions! I got really annoyed at the POV change, I see why it was neccessary, but the inside of his head is stupid, I much prefer Bella's. I also got really annoyed at the various people who had together given away the entire plot points of that book. Except for what happens to Jacob, and when I found that out I had to put the book down and laugh for like 10 minutes. Well, I had a lot of fun at U23D... we ended up being 5 rows from the front, and bloody hell things were close... We started off with Adam being right in our faces (not that I minded, but it was unexpected), and a few times he swung the bass around right in front of the camera and it looked really close! I don't think I realised how close he was... I also noticed something else when Bono introduced him... the girls that were in front of Adam when he walked down to the end of the catwalk were :bow:ing to him as Bono introduced him... I joined in the :bow:ing.. and I :bow:ed a few times when Larry came up... and Edge... It was gooood... I also asked if they had any posters or anything, but they'd gotten rid of them all! I would've happily taken one of the massive big banners, but I don't think they were able to give them away... Today, we went ice skating... Zoe fell down 4 times, and I didn't fall down at all... and we also had a hot guy who worked there talking to us when we went on the ice... After we skated, we went to DFO... I ended up buying gold high tops, an "I love my chucks" t shirt, 2 pairs of jeans, some pjs and bras, some clothes for the kids and a pair of Bono style sunnies... they're pretty... Oh, and I took a pic of Edge's cinema (The Edge cinema in Katoomba), and a pic of Adam's Shed (which interestingly enough, sells wine ) And that was about it...
