Kelzy
Umm, well I'm not at school today because I'm still trying to get rid of this cold. But I'm feeling quite a bit better today. You must be bored. Got any rather dull but exciting stories to tell?? I have one. At 5am this morning I ripped my nosestud out in my sleep. It hurt so much that it woke me up. I expected it to be lost forever on the other side of my bedroom. But, when I sat up, I amazingly found it in my bed. (Amazingly becuase I didn't even have my glasses on and I am legally blind..lol). I dragged myself to the bathroom where I could see better, surveyed the damage and became quite anxious that I wouldn't be able to get the stud back in. So, I grabbed a little mirror and sat on the toilet (it's my resting place - all good thoughts happen there and I relax.. or smth.. ) And I tried putting it back in, which hurt worse because the stud is thick and unbendable (it's L shaped) and I couldn't get it to go through the hole because the short bended end is shorter than my nose hole width and kept trying to painfully widen my nose hole.. Not good. So, I went to my bedroom and looked through my earrings for a stud - but strangely couldn't find any. That's when I really panicked. So I sat back on the toilet to think some more. Then I reminded myself there's always a solution and to just listen to my head for a minute. 5 seconds later I got the answer. I found an earring that was thinner metal and bendable, and cut it small and shoved it in my nose. Problem solved. And, Y'all needed to hear that one.. *zhhz* *pbs* (oh, and when I returned to bed Rpattz laughed at me. It was Nono  texting me to tell me there's hawt pics of Mika at the Oscar after party.. ) Edited February 24, 2009 by Kelzy

But before I start such an all-important life-changing thread, I should just confirm, my dear Kelzymelzykins - when you say "nose hole" you don't mean "nostril"... you mean the hole made by the piercing of course, right-o? 'Coz I would hope your nostril is slightly larger than the short end of the bendy part. Edited February 24, 2009 by Suzy

englishrose
Hello! I chickened out in another perfect opportunity today! Hang on! When did this happen? I need some details! *msnslap* When did what happen? The boyfriend bit or him staying over? His name is Franz, and he's a German exchange student, so he goes home at the end of June. We started dating during the Christmas holidays after some nudges in the right direction from some friends As for the second thing...my mum went away for the weekend, so it was the perfect opportunity to have the movie night we'd been planning for ages (unbeknownst to her, however. If she ever finds out I will be on house arrest for the rest of my life. So she won't find out. )...our list is quite exstensive... I agree... Dakota playing a psychotic vampire (even one who sparkles) has will be different (don't read the next line if you haven't read the book) Maybe... hearing voices and jumping off cliffs does have theatric appeal. And I'm sure Kirsten can play emotionless I love Dakota Fanning. At first I was like, WTF, Jane's an adult, but then I realised that Dakota isn't eight anymore. I find that I sit there, willing myself to say whatever it is I want to say, and then I just don't, and before you know it its time to go Exactly...and although it's made me regret my lack of courage so many times, it still happens...lucky for me Franz did the asking but it doesn't give me an excuse really. Sitting and waiting for something to happen is so apathetic...it's probably the thing I dislike most about myself...

I remember you talking about him (unless it's a different exchange student). But that sucks about him going home in June. Sounds like you guys had a great time. I do hope your mum doesn't find out. I'm having a mental blank. Who was Jane again?

I'm working on a music assignment at the moment which is rather boring but I really want to get it done. I've been putting it off for around 3 weeks. Poor you! Excellent ingenuity though. Oh! The other day I was watching an old episode of Sex and the City and it was an episode where Carrie's friends made her go see a shrink because she was constantly talking about Big. And when she reluctantly went to see a pretty famous one, she was delighted to find out that an rather attractive man had the appointment before her. And he was played by Jon Bon Jovi! Have you seen that episode? Yeah. I liked him for AGES before anything happened. Turns out he liked me back, too, so things could have happened way sooner...:rolls_eyes:Yeah. Yeah, but fun comes at a price of $3000 and I have to pay for every cent of it Well we have to do it about one instrument. I'm doing the piano and there are four questions and we have to write 1500 words (although I'm pretty sure I'm going to go over that) and do a Viva Voce on it as well. It's just very repetitive. Oh, I see. I could never afford that. But I wish I could.

But Jane is a small adult I know... me too. The uni friends I saw for lunch and movie today and I all decided we're going to join some uni clubs and actually go and socialise more, since we all need to break out of shyness And hey everyone, got my uni timetable (and boy and I confused by it) Firstly.... they've moved the edf lecture that was on monday to friday (I now have mondays off) and then, the tute isn't even on there. I am so very very very very confused... And the lectures don't start straight away but the workshops, which are 3 hours long but only go for a few weeks, and would normally be after placement are at the start of the semester. As I said, so very confused. but at the same time, it is early literacy and numeracy, and for one of the literacy classes we're required to teach... literally they throw us in a classroom, so I'm worried that thats what the workshops are. As I said... so very confused
