guylainem123
What kind of dip has ground beef in it? This should be interesting. it's MY Salsa dip! (i got the recipe from my sister ) I think Roxy posted my pm to her, giving her the recipe! I served it to Cathouzouf & Roxy when they came for a visit. (didn't i show a pic of it at New Years?) It's great to serve at sporting events/friend gathering, next to chips/dip, chicken wings, etc.... You can do it without the hamburger meat as well. Very very filling, it's almost a meal. Great thing about it is, you can make it the day before & put it in the oven when your guests arrive.

guylainem123
My dish entering this very serious competing will be "DA DIP" also known as "GUY'S DIP" Be prepared to be amazed. First of all, you will need the very secret recipie stored safely somewhere. OOORR, this can do: is that my pm to you ??? Then you chop the onions(be careful, only professionnals can do this) If this step is too scary, they can also use onion powder

Fran
Ok then. Here’s the thing. Considering that I’m almost a judge in RL (pff poor me ), considering that I’ve never had a blueberry muffin (or a blueberry ) before and considering that I was extremely bored in class yesterday morning, these laydees decided to take their lovely Saturdays to give me some fun. THE FINAL JUDGEMENT: HELENA: GOOD: 1) Picked blueberries under the rain 2) Secret ingredient 3) Great pictures (even a zoomed one to help Guy) 4) Cute bear and butterfly molds 5) Cleaned the floor 6) Jumped on the trampoline with the muffin 7) Tried a back somersault with the muffin 8) Picked raspberries 9) Decorated plate 10) Wrote “Fran” on the muffin BAD: 1) Sent her little sister to pick blueberries under the rain 2) Bribed the little girl to get what she needed 3) Dropped sugar on the floor (tsc tsc tsc) 4) Dropped the muffin 5) ATE MY MUFFIN 10 - 5 = FIVE. GUY: GOOD: 1) Great pictures 2) Captured the muffins aroma for me 3) Played Elle Me Dit (poor muffins, were late to have the English version) 4) David Bowie picture (ooooops) 5) Professional muffin photographer hired for a photoshoot 6) MFC mug in the picture 7) Heart made of blueberries 8) Special picture with a message 9) Did the dishes BAD: 1) Tried to corrupt me by saying that she loves me 2) Tried to corrupt me using more pictures 3) Sent her hubby out to buy milk (poor hubby!) 4) Bribed her hubby with a muffin 9 - 4 = FIVE. Special detail: both of them gave me SO MUCH FUN during my Saturday morning torture, I mean, class. But both of them also distracted me A LOT. As you viewer can see, it has obviously ended tied. That’s the fairest thing to be done when both parts on a contest are equally great, don’t you think? Especially when they’re also great friends that take a Saturday to prepare muffins that just make you laugh hard during the whole day. I obviously couldn’t pick only one and you knew it. Just wanna say that it was too much fun for a single day. Thank you very much, especially for every detail you thought of to make it special! And congratulations, you were awesome! guylainem123
Where do you buy onion powder, have never heard of it!:aah: Strange Canada:loco:
you don't have this? It has to be an oven safe dish. - Mix 250g (approx. 9oz) of cream cheese with 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise, until smooth (i use a hand mixer) - Spread evenly at the bottom of the oven safe dish. - Cook 1lbs (454 kg) of lean hamburger meat, mix with salt, pepper, onion powder (or real onions, if you want) - Spread meat evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture - On top of the meat, pour a small jar (430ml) of medium or hot salsa on top (i used this one) http://www.bestairmiledeals.com/wp-c...06_CMYK-28.jpg You can also make your own salsa & use 430ml. - Spread shredded Cheddar/Mozarella cheese on top, to cover everything. - Put in the oven at 350F (176C). It is ready when it smells good and the cheese is melted - Use Tortilla chips (corn chips) to scoop the dip & eat These are the chips i'm talking about: http://raisedbyponies.files.wordpres...la-chips-1.gif Enjoy! guylainem123
Ahhh, you bake it. I like it raw with beans and sour cream instead of mayonnaise. But it looks good. yes, it's baked and served hot. (perfect for winter) I think the mayo is only to help smooth the cream cheese, it doesn't taste like mayo at all. I've also had it with Chili (with meat) and also with beans mixed in salsa, but always served hot. We went to a party a few weeks ago & there was a dish that looked similar to this & served cold. Christine
I think the mayo is only to help smooth the cream cheese, it doesn't taste like mayo at all. I don't have a problem with the mayo I just love sour cream. But the sour cream would only be good if it was cold.
