Jaya
For those who are looking for sheets of music, here's a French website, pretty well done and FREE http://www.boiteachansons.net/Artistes/Mika.php You'll find easy tabs and chords for guitar, piano... for 9 MIKA's songs : B Brown, G Kelly, H Ending, Lollipop, L Today, My Int, Relax, SITM, WAG You can even chose the key you like!!! There are many other songs from many different artists. For those who have pb using the website (because of the French words), ask me and I'll try to help you by linking a direct link for instance (if no answer soon enough, PM me 'cause I won't go to check this thread pretty often) Thanks a lot

Yes that would be lovely, if it's not too much effort Do you have piano or just guitar? you can work out for piano if you have the guitar chord. Verse 2 has same chords as verse 1 Same bridge chorus verse 3 is same chords as verses 1+2 bridge with different lyrics but same chords Chorus Yeah, these chords do just about fit. I only use 4 chords ( which I believe are the ones played by mika's pianist in the live version. In the key that mika sings 82 in it's more like Ab, Ab chord changing the Ab for a Gb ( that's Gb, C,Eb together) , then Db, and Eb for the verses. Then basically omit the Gb chord for the rest of the song ( if that makes sense)! I kind of know the chord progression for nearly all mika songs. I still don't know PUOTF in the bit where it goes ' then she goes and falls in love and throws it all away. I play Dm then E but there's a chord in between. Also , I don't know the chords in overrated for ' in this state of grace, in this perfect place'. Anybody know what these are? Ellenowl
I got that too, except for the chorus. I'm hearing something close to A maj and Dmaj... PUOTF is a weird one... I play it Amaj and Dmaj, min sounds weird, although it would perhaps make more musical sense. I'm pretty sure he sings C# too , but it's hard to tell! And what is an E7 chord ? DareToBeGolden
For puotf the official chords from his book are Am Dm Esus E7 hope that helps x

LaraMay
The Origin of Love: C major, G major, A minor, F major. Repeated in an obvious manner. Very simple to play, but very rewarding! Nice, I played it in the key of F like this: F, C, Dm, Bb, gonna try that one too, thanks And basically if you play the notes of the chords backwards, F C Bb Bb, it will sound like that cute little melody in the intro and outro, very childish and sweet. Yup! Works too , as with any key with the same chord progression. I find F major a bit depressing though, for some reason, so I'll just stick with c major! I'm pretty sure the key is Dflat major/C# major Someone double check that for me, haha I would check it, but I haven't even heard the song yet. Not even a pitchly (not a word!) distorted YouTube version like the others. Somebody put a MYH remix up, but called it Tah Dah. Sounds a good song from the iTunes preview though. I will probably put other chords on here when I actually have the album (doesn't come out until 8th October here!) but for now I've been doing step with me and kids on the ukulele: Step with me: Eb major, Ab major,Eb major, Bb major repeated, apart from the home cooked tasty mischievous dishy bit which is Eb major, Ab major,Eb major, Ab major, Eb major, Bb major. Kids: F major, D minor, Bb major,C major So both nice and simple!
